I've just discovered how to get the Nintendo WiFi USB Adapter from Buffalo to run on Vista PC. Since this isn't commonly available knowledge on the net I've made a description of how to get the adapter setup for you all on my MSN blog at deltasnake.us . I hope this helps you all who need to run the adapter on Vista.
Edit: Here's the instruction so you don't have to goto my blog.
Step 1: Plug the adapter into the Vista PC.
Â
Step 2: Put the CD that came with the WiFi adapter into you PC's DVD drive.
Â
Step 3: Select "Computer" from the Vista start menu and right click on "WFCReg103" CD and select "explore"
Â
Step 4: Open the folder NintendoWFCreg and find the application "Setup.exe" in that folder
Â
Step 5: Right click on the "Setup.exe" file and select "Properties"
Â
Step 6: Goto the "Compatibility" tab, tick the "Run this program in compatibility for" check box and select "Windows XP Service Pack 2"
Â
Step 7: Click "OK" then run the Setup.exe program.
Â
Step 8: The install will run as normal till you receive a warning that the drivers are not signed, ignore this warning and continue with the install as normal.
Â
Then you just need to setup the Nintendo Wii and DS as normal and everything is good.
OK, Why the hell did we just get Lylat Wars today on the Australian VC. Yes I rememer Lylat Wars is what Star Fox used to be called in Europe. But why was it released now, Nintendo dosn't ue the Lylat Wars name anymore and the trademark issue was for Europe shouldn't we have gotten Star Fox, not Lylat Wars. I've always hated the name Lylat Wars and this just makes me ticked off.
Sony has puts less stuff on the PS Store in the month since launch than M$ dose on some days. Don't hold your breath for the PS1 games, or MKII for that matter.
