and of course he misses the whole point: not everyone can and will be constantly connected to the internet. yeah it'd be different if every country, every city and every household had free high speed internet that didn't fail, then there'd be no excuse, but that's not the case. I live in the city and have high speed internet but i can't guarantee 100% constant connectivity. it has blanked out plenty of times for me to worry if i had an Xbox One and it still had that damnd DRM. just imagine how screwed over those living in rural areas or those who can't afford it would be.
Man, Microsoft is trying their damndist to make up for their flub up. Commendable effort by all means but they've already burned us...no take backsies...
@hexhunter222 yea sure open world will be awesome but what ELSE will it be? they say there reaching out to a broader audience, for all we know they could also be trying to reach out to the COD or BF crowd, which that alone is cause to worry. and there's always the threat of them dumbing it down (cough cough Ninja Gaiden 3 cough...). just saying, plenty of reason to be wary...oh and it's fucking EA, since when are they trustworthy?
When a developer says its trying to reach a broader audience its like a girlfriend coming out of the blue saying "we need to talk." Its never a good sign...
Well i guess thats it then, backwards compatibility was the one thing i was hoping for so i can play the current games and still play some of the old ones i missed...well **** you Msoft (and Sony) I'm stepping up my PC game!
