There was an artical...I cant remember what site. But there was this software where you can download it to you PC make it into a disk put in your Wii, then have the Wii eject the disk then put the DVD in and it would work. So the Wii has the hardware to do so...just no software. Maybe Nintendo will surprise one day with our Wii's glowing with a message that says "Hey! Go to the Wii Shop Channel for the new DVD Channel!" One can only hope......
Im sorry you guys have to wait so long. I know how that wait can be. Me being in the US and watching Japan get it was rough. So I feel your guys pain. But just be aware. The online isnt what its cracked up to be. Lagging and late responsive button mashing. Not a good thing in a fighting game. People say all online fighting games are that way, but you'd think on SOME level it would be better. Mario Kart Wii is awesome online, and so is NiGHTS.
What I want to know is when are we getting that TV channel? I think its cool...but I dont think it will ever come over here. How would Nintendo's Wiimote be used with a Cable box from Comcast or Bright House? Guess it wouldnt work...oh well. :cry:
I wouldnt mind seeing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remade with Twilight Princess graphics...but dont put it on a disc, put it on WiiWare. And make a hard drive....that would really be nice.
Who knows? But when WiiWare finally does launch I cant wait to try out Final Fantasy, or any other ones. I hope they will have downloadable content for other games. Like Rockband. Be kinda cool if we could get some downloadable characters for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. But how would they do that ya know? oh well I can dream....
It would be great to see my favorite action hero on todays consoles. Think about it...Throwing Xena's Chakram (her weapon thats on her hip?) around with the Wiimote? Or slashing with her sword with the Wiimote? Xena was made for the Wii! But I found THIS!
This was a PS2 (YES A PS2) version that was released in the U.K....ONLY!!! Now given that it looks like something that came out of Argo (Xena's horse..inside Xena joke hehe) but Im sick of Xena games that suck! Gamespot reviewed Xena for the PS1, which they gave a 4.6 (poor) and Xena for the N64 which was a fighting game which was 2.8 (terrible) and they didnt even give the Gameboy color version a chance...because theres no review for it. How many gamers are out there that are Xena fans like me who would LOVE to see their favorite lil Warrior Princess on today's consoles..Oh! And be able to get it no matter what country they live in??
