Hi everyone, just had a quick question. I bought Kingdom Hearts BBS and Dissidia Final Fantasy for the PSP and noticed that they have an install feature that shortens load times, and does all that fancy stuff. So I ended up installing KHBBS using 560kb I think which is the maximum data installation. I later on tried to install Dissidia when I got a message saying that installing this games data will erase any data already saved in the memory stick, so I decided to cancel the installation in worry that it will uninstall my KHBBS data which took maybe 10 minutes to install. So before I try and see if it only means that it will delete saved files for that game only or if it really meant that any game data will be deleted I decided to ask around. So has anyone tried it? Can you only install 1 game into a memory stick regardless of memory size, or can you have more? I tried googling but I couldn't find the right words to put into the search bar, instead I kept getting "Install homebrew game data" results.

No it will not erase any install data from other game titles. It just simply means that if you already have a dissidia install data on your memory stick it will be erased or how should I put it, reinstalled or overwritten cause you cant have more than one install data for the same game. And all your other installations for other games are safe. I have a dissidia installation and birth by sleep installation both on one memory stick and dozens of install data for other games as well.

Or should I just wait for VITA?

Santesyu
Nah I dont think its late since I too own a Psp and planning on buying a vita when it comes. And I also think that you will benefit more owning a psp now because its cheaper to buy psp games and you could build an extensive library. Then you will indeed have to upgrade to the vita when its here and continue buying psp games on psn or hardcopies of psp games at retail stores for vita. I have over fifty umd games and still buying and will be looking forward to extending my psp collection on vita.

Yes, if I remember correctly the first psp included a 32mb memory stick when it was released which I assume you have and not a 32gig right.
