applemaking agaming console seems highly unlikely to me as their PC and MP3 player sales are rocketing...

but u never know, we thought (i did)the same before the iPod that apple can survive on their computer business alone.. but we know the entire iPod story now..
Sony mp3 players ruled the market before iPod came in.. analogise this with the chance of them making a new console.. i guess u get it.. kinda like

iPlay-> PS3 killer or something :P

this can happen with their gaming consoles,cos their R&D teams are the best you can find and man!all their new products hold something diffrent ALL THE TIME which takes the product to a new height, where areas others are left gaping...

if this happens in case case of gaming consoles... i wont mind... at least i will get to play on a better machine
