[QUOTE="DaDukies"]not bad for what it is, it's like some rick ross sounding ish on one listen the only thing i really thought was off was the hand clap, it sounds like the handclap that probably came with the program you guys used. a better clap/snare would make this sound much better imo. nice mixing thoughkobegill

Appreciate that. I went to school for it in Raleigh, NC. Its only 3 of us in the team.

at State? what program do you guys use

I went back to the file and the clap seems right. Matched it to the metronome and everything. The reverb might be throwing you off. The drum pattern we used in Fruity Loops and everything else is off the Roland Fantom we have. We have the producer kits in FL as well.

oh no, i wasn't talking about the timing of the clap, the timing is fine. i meant that a better sounding clap might make the song sound better or slap harder...it just kinda sounds like a stock handclap that came with FL. just my opinion though, nice beat i've been working on some beats lately with a new program i got...i'm gonna have to post some up here soon

Gunz flow in the last part of his verse>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Also, Wayne said real G's move in silence like lasagna. Really dude? I mean, yeah the g is silent in lasagna, but lasagna don't move unless it's the frozen kinda in the stoffers truck :|

And Copywrite did a similar concept back in 2002! "If you a g, you silent like the one in front of gnome."

SMH @ Weezy

i dont know man, thats a pretty sick line. i thought it was horrible at first cause i didnt get it lol. "lasagna moves silently? i guess so :? " but yeah, the G is silent in lasagna lol i think its pretty clever anyways, did anybody see wayne perform this on SNL last night? he killed it, a really good performance

[QUOTE="BLBxLakers24"]

where are yall talking about the name?? Smh..

The song is crack , well the first 2:50.. Gunz should not be on it. Its Waynes first song out, and after 2:50 gunz comes on and you dont even wanna listen no more .

Foolz3h

Word, completely draws out the song. Oh well.

really? i thought Gunz flow at the end of his verse was one of the best parts of the song

insane...so far Kanye has album of the year from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Billboard, MTV, and Time. when is the last time something like that has happened? i think pitchfork did a damn good job with their end of year lists this year, and it was a great year for music. the only thing i disagree with is no Pilot Talk in the top 50 and Gorillaz should be a little higher up

this is the opposite of based http://current.com/entertainment/music/92489477_based-how-a-fifth-of-remy-martin-xo-took-me-from-confounded-critic-to-based-believer.htm "Lil B's philosophy on life is reminiscent of the Hippie movement of the 1960's, where the social norm is to be challenged in the pursuit of physical and spiritual happiness. Now his peculiar references to himself as a **** "lesbian", "princess", etc… made sense. By challenging these societal constraints you actually transcend them and strip from them any negativity they may have previously possessed. By creating music purely for self satisfaction and void of preconceived expectations, it becomes irrelevant whether they are received in a positive or negative light. Lil B essentially took Hip Hop back to its roots of a medium for self expression and entertainment, directly opposite of the modern commercial Hip Hop focused on negative themes, machismo, and competitiveness. Is Lil B the best rapper..of course not, but who cares? The whole point of BASED freestyles is to "Not Give A **** and enjoy the moment." and he has sick beats
