[QUOTE="Toriko42"]

If you aren't feeling these tracks, you're crazy

Gorillaz - Empire Ants Ft. Little Dragon

Gorillaz - Rhinestone Eyes

Gorillaz - White Flag Ft. Kano, Bashy & The Lebanese National Orchestra for Oriental Arabic Music

Gorillaz - Superfast Jellyfish Ft. Gruff Rhys & De La Soul

Gorillaz - Glitter Freeze

Gorillaz - Stylo ft. Mos Def and Bobby Womack

Gorillaz - Some Kind of Nature ft. Lou Reed

mowz00

you didnt even mention "on melancholy hill" or "to binge"...fail

the rap appearances are wack imo...they don't fit with the gorillaz style...sounds out of place

de la soul sounds perfect on 'superfast jellyfish' imo...the only thing that could make that song better is Del. and Snoop is kinda out of place on the first track, but if you don't think of him as 'snoop dogg' and just listen to the song, it's a great intro to the album

ever since wayne took over he's been signing different (horrible) artists to the label ...AND the biggest reason imo - they don't have Mannie Fresh

[QUOTE="Balimi"]Honestly I've nerver heard a full Gorillaz album and I don't have plans to anytime soon.Colt45fool
Samesies :)

why? it has some of the best production of any albums i've ever heard, and even though it may not be a straight hip-hop album, there is plenty of rapping on all Gorillaz albums (all great features) and the production is very hip-hop inspired

well its pretty much leaked everywhere now, so you can hear it song-by-song this album is amazing...incredible production, and everything is completely unexpected (at least on the first couple listens). i just love gorillaz basslines and the awesome little sounds/synths they use. this is the best album of 2010 so far

Gorillaz - Plastic Beach Full Album streaming on NPR.com Don't know how many of you here like Gorillaz, but if you don't then get up on this I've been waiting for this album for years, as Demon Days is one of my favorite albums ever. This is one of the most diverse albums i've ever heard, with some INSANE production and featuring everyone from Snoop Dogg to Lou Reed. It comes out next week (i think?) in the states, and NPR is streaming it for free before the release - so far, its sounding like my fav album of 2010 so far as far as hip hop goes...it features Mos Def, De la Soul, & Snoop, as well as Kano and Bashy (who sound very british) 8)
