Your favorite tracks include a skit? :|Yes!why? The acting on the Intro skit does the whole album artistic justice, conveying the pain and conflict of Eminem's past five years; it really does introduce the album, unlike many other introduction tracks. Also, the quality of voice acting is superb--movie and video-game quality. How does Eminem manage to compress so much emotion in to one introductory skit? The plot twist is the best part.[QUOTE="WizengamotX"][QUOTE="Apocalypse33"][QUOTE="WizengamotX"][QUOTE="Colt45fool"][QUOTE="WizengamotX"]Relapse Sample Mix, for all of those who: a. could not download the leaked album; b. are morally against downloading the leaked album; c. would like a semi-legal preview of the leaked album. My favourite tracks are "Dr. West" (skit) and "Bagpipes from Baghdad" ... comments?MellowMight

did you guys think it was poorly done or something? i agree i don't see how it can be one of his "favorite tracks" because it's not really a track...but it is one of the best intro skits i've heard in a long time to be honest. i ALWAYS skip intro skits, but i've found myself playing that a few times before i listen to the album as a whole or just 3AM, because it adds a lot to the album i think[QUOTE="bradleybhoy"]word....dude went overboard with that ish, I wasn't even paying attention to the themes/messages when I was bumping The Cool really? the album told a story...that's part of what makes it so great imo. one of my fav albums i really suggest going back and listening to the story of the 3 characters (the cool, the game, & the streets)...makes the album so much betterIt's funny how the album is not even gonna come close to matching up to that description.
Who remembers Lupe's explanation of The Cool? God that was lame.

[QUOTE="mems_1224"][QUOTE="Apocalypse33"][QUOTE="mems_1224"]im not saying you are wrong, but Snoop, Dre do we need to hear about smoking weed? Jay, Nas do we need to hear how you came from the ghetto and used to hustle? Its not just em...most rappers are guilty of itwhich is why snoop has sucked for years, dre doesn't even rap, nas has been meh and jay at least still makes things entertaining.my point is most rappers talk about the same ish and em might be more noticeable bc what he talks about is pretty unique to him, so repeated songs about it stand out more i honestly don't really like when em talks about new topics, it just doesn't feel right ("mosh"). he's at his best when he's angry and talks about his problems and ****ed up thoughts in his head the mom topic has gotten a little old though...and the celeb insults are just lame and it's ridiculous that he's still doing itword, writing a blog about it was lame. but so is not evolving as an artist over the span of 10 years and living in the past. really marshall? do we really need another song about your mom? do we really need more lame celeb insults? oh look, more songs about being on drugs, yay! i love hearing eminem rap about the same things for 10 years with the only difference being that his voice gets consistantly worse. you need to change your style em, not your voice. its old already.
