 damn, this thread's been hijacked big time back on topic...I think that verse is better than most of Em's recent stuff, but it in no way justifies saying that he "still has it"...he just needs to drop that whole new rhyme style that he picked up ever since 50/G-Unit came along, and go back to his old style that everyone likes and knows
in the last year/year & a half i feel like i've been drifting further and further from being only a hip-hop listener...rap used to be pretty much the only thing i listened to, but I just feel like it's a dying art form (in the mainstream anyway). I haven't listened to the radio in probably 2 years, because most of the songs are pretty much unlistenable for me, this goes for rock too, current rock is pretty much as bad as current rap. for this reason, i've been listening to a bunch of classic rock and blues lately (eric clapton, stevie ray vaughan, etc.) and i just find it to be so much more quality than modern day music, it's crazy. i still have hope for this year though...Common, Kanye, Kweli, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Ghostface/DOOM, etc. could still make this year a great one for hip-hop if they can all deliver on their albums
for some reason i have a feeling that album name will change before it's released didn't Em already say that this will be his best album lyrically? i sure hope so...i'd kill for another album on the level of MMLP
do you guys know what this means?! there is a great chance that we will get to see either ROBERT DENIRO or AL PACINO (****in Scarface!) shoot 50 Cent!! i can't wait
