First of all, IGN has been creating a couple threads like this a day to try to fuel the console wars. If you look at the comments these articles get, it's indicative of the huge amount of traffic that's being generated. They're really just troll articles. IGN's comments sections allow for Up OR Down-voting and are much more inviting to trolls and flame wars than the Gamespot comment model.

The BF4 devs immediately tweeted in response to this article that the game was in alpha, and it would be much improved before it hit shelves.

1. I was happy with PS, PS2, and PS3.

2. The Sony exclusives.

3. Can't wait to see the new controller. Everyone is praising it.

Demon's Souls. False King + Man Eaters + Flame Lurker were some of the funnest, most intense boss fights of any game I have ever played. Ever. I didn't play Demon's Souls co op until probably my tenth playthrough. Although the co op is much easier, it is still an aboslutely incredible experience, especially on the aforementioned boss fights.

Despite still being an exceptional game, Dark Souls is marred by an overabundance of overly simple filler bosses and offers far less entertainment or challenge (in comparison to Demon's Souls). At certain points in Dark Souls it seemed as if From Software had run out of ideas. In every way, Dark Souls felt easier, less exciting, and less entertaining. Havind said that, I loved Dark Souls and played it for over 200 hours (PS3 +PC)... I just don't think it is better than Demon's Souls.

I thought Demon's Souls was ruined by most of the boss fights having cheap/cheesy ways to win. Especially the final fight. It is a great game though as well (Dark Souls being my pick for greatest game). This series is the best I've seen in a long time. I am so bummed that Dark Souls 2 is not coming to PS4. I guess I'll have to stream it off Gaikai, as I'm trading in my PS3 at launch.

Actually, I hope this turns out to be the GOTY after all the crap Xbots have been giving us about it.

they dropped offline gaming experience

did that effect anyone else? I buy their games like Dead space and Need for Speed and I am not into their sport games (or any sport game)

and I only play offline and never try the online and I am more into playing for the plot and story rather than smashing others players, I got Warcraft, Starcraft, and League of Legend for that

What worry me the most, is this will be the trend for other companies and soon all games are just online gaming.

Titanfall is a game that i have zero interest in because its offers no offline experience.

Yeah, this is all about them implementing their own DRM. They sound as arrogant as MS did at E3 with their "always online" policy and we all know how well that worked out. The only game I'm really interested in that they publish would be Dragon's Age Inquisition... If I can buy a used copy to say screw you I will, otherwise I'll just skip it.

That's what it looks like. I can't tell for sure if it looks good or not. I'll probably wait to see the reviews. I think I'm just going to pick up AC4 on launch day, and then wait to see reviews on the rest. While I'm not the hugest AC fan, out of all the launch titles, AC4 looks like the only one I'm sure I'll have fun with.

Well when next gen launches in Nov we'll have Killzone Shadow Fall and BF4... and that franchise you didn't want me to talk about. I didn't want to talk about it either, don't worry.

Also, I really did want to see a Van Ord review on this. The only Tales game I've played was Graces f, and I thought it had a serious case of meh. I'm curious if this game is significantly better or pretty much the same, because I like a good JRPG, but it didn't seem like Tales games were my cup of tea.
