Hmmm... to be honest I don't truely beleive any songs out there would be best for Spyro, I like to think that a song be custom made to fit the game perfectly and yet... I think "Knightrider of Doom" by Rhapsody, "Power of the Dragonflame" album would be sweet for Dark Spyro because of the lyrics
"In this bloody dawn, I will wash my soul, to call the spirit of vengence, to deny my wisdom for anger, to break the scream of the silent fool and to be a knightrider of doom"
and just in general for Spyro the song "Power of the Dragonflame" same band, same album.
I have to say... that in the real world I don't think dragons ever really existed, if they truely did I think hardcore evidence would have been found by now and it would have made the news... and been printed into grade school history books you know...
HOWEVER, in my world and in my mind, intellectual dragons roam, and I myself am a dragon of the fire element!
oh man, this is... really tough, of course it'll have to come from DOTD (It's my all time favorite Spyro game ever, man I think it's my favorite game period)... umm... man you guys I can not just pick one it's way to hard for me particularly between the last cutscenes but I think the the two from Malefore's Lair are the ones that really touch the heart, especialy the last one.
(Malefore's Lair)
Cynder: Fight back!
Malefore: Hahahahahahahaha!!!
Cynder: Fight back! Why won't you fight back!
Spyro: Because you've left me nothing to fight for
Cynder: There's alwase something
(Malefore's Lair)
Cynder: Spyro, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.
Spyro: Don't be it's over now.
Cynder: So this is it...
Spyro, when a dragon dies he does not truly leave this world. His spirit lives on, binding itself with nature, offering hope for the future...
Spyro: I know what I need to do. Just get out of here Cynder.
Cynder: Spyro, no... You don't have to do anything. Let's just go.
Spyro: Where Cynder? There'll be nothing left! The world is breaking apart. But I think I can stop it. I think i'm meant to.
Cynder: Then I'm with you... I love you...
And then comically these two here just cracked me up I laughed for at least 10 minutes straight, each, the first time I heard them...
(Twilight Falls)
Cynder: Ah, it's no use...
Spyro: Well maybe if we try twisting it?
Cynder: Twist what, it's magic!
Sparx: Uuh, I could watch this all day.
(Dragon City)
Sparx: Hush little baby... don't say a word... mama's gonna buy you... a big monster wants to kill me...
well this doesn't phase me much because I f-ing loved the game, but it's still a negative thing to hear, to be honest DOTD is a lot better then some other games that got high scores but, what can you do... oh I know... you can look at the user score of all the ppl that played the game, yes it's useualy higher than gamespot's score but for good reason, and that jsut gives me the warm and fuzies... I should review this game when I have time
Ok, I watched the final cutscenes of DOTD a lot when I was picking my "Favorite Spyro Quote" and this is what I was able to analyze...
The mutliple dragons that apear to seal away Malefor they all do look like Ignitus, and the second Malefor is gone the shackle on Spyro and Cynder do dissapear.
Also, the world was being torn apart, but Spyro did his best to keep it together in a flash of light, however, I don't believe he kept it from splitting apart 100%, if you look at the scenery when Sparx and the others emerge from shelter, there are a lot more floating islands than before it seems.
Finaly, whether Spyro and Cynder lived or not at the end, i'm apsolutly 110% positive they did live, heres why, when The Chronicler is explaining to Ignitus about the books, he says
"You see, each time a dragon dies, a new page is written in this book. I've done my best, but I can't seem to find any trace of Spyro."
If Spyro did indeed die, the new page would have been there, in the book, and it would have been obviouse that he died, but there was no new page to give the Chronicler reason to believe Spyro to be dead, then Ignitus, after becoming the new chronicler, says "Well, young dragon... where might you be?" then you See Spyro and Cynder frolicing in the sky above one of the floating islands and you can see the biggest moon in the sky behind them.
And btw, there didn't seem to be any new page to depict that Malefor had died either from what I can tell, it is possible that because the main concern at that time was "where is Spyro?" Malefor's fate wasn't even mentioned, so whether he died or not is still a toss up, I think if he did die and was gone for good, it would have been important enough to mention. If you were able to read this whole post, I thank you, and hope this brings more closure to the LOS series aside from, "Will there be more games?"
I think that the major questions about DOTD are like, is Malefore really gone for?, What about all the previouse purple dragons Malefor spoke of? and shoot, what about Dark Spyro, I mean c'mon... it just seems like he should manifest on his own and start reaking havok or like the closer it gets to the next eclips the harder it becomes for Spyro to not change into his dark form untill Spyro just turns into his dark form when the eclips happens and can't change back untill the phase is over idk...
so many questions (questions= more reasons for another game in the LOS series) seriously it's like... *beats DOTD* then... more... MORE, NEED MORE!!!
