I'm sure someone has mentioned this, but Glados, in Portal is truly a wonderful villain...she taunts you, tortures you, psychologically manipulates you, and, in the end, reaches out from beyond to perpetrate that greatest deceipt in video game history, when you learn that "the cake is a lie".
