My tattoo is not the best one in the world, the woman kinda rushed it.
But saying that, I don't mind it. After all, it isof my favourite band :D
I'm going for another tattoo in the next 6 months but somewhere with more of a reputation.

Nirvana tattoo

I believe this is quite normal but I have never known a colour change so drastic. Me and my mum have eyes that change colour. Hers go from dark green to dark brown depending on her mood and tiredness, but mine just go from green to a hazel (with a hint of green around the edges) usually depending on the season, which I find quite odd =\

[QUOTE="m45t3rch13f"][QUOTE="12Bullets"]Most people ive met think socialism and communism are they same thing. Capitalism is good but it can also fail you.Statutory_AP3
A lot of Americans believe socialism and communism are in the same league because politicians have brainwashed them since 1940s. Capitalism fails whem corporates start running the country instead of the people, look at the US right now. Healthcare, insurance, and drug prices are in hell because of them.

Thats why I'm a Marxist/Socialist/whatever.

Same, dude. I'm pretty Left-wing in general

Correct me if i am wrong (Im not all that clued up when it comes to communism) but a communist state does have a government but is a single-party state...

Dude, who told you this? Read up, socialism and capitalism are both economic policies, not social policies. And thus are opposite ends. Communism is an economic policy as well as a social policy. It employs many parts of socialism, and the primary goal is to become a stateless, moneyless state where all production is controlled by the collective - hence socialism. What you are referring to is a mixed economy, which is capitalism with a dash of socialism.Famiking

Right, I see what you are getting at now. Sorry, I was quite lost before because you was speaking in such general terms. In that case, yes they are opposites, but I still stand by Socialism, none the less.

Wikipedia (not the most reliable source in the world, I know) describes Socialist economics as "A normative definition held by many socialists states that all socialist economic theories and arrangements are united by the desire to produce for use rather than profit, achieve greater equality, give the workers greater control of the means of production and create a more effective mechanism for producing and distributing goods"

Being a member of the lowerclases (I myself am from a working clas family) I support this idea as it does give greater equality

Also:
"socialism denotes an economic system of state ownership and/or worker ownership of the means of production and distribution"
"communisim is a socioeconomic structure and political ideology that promotes the establishment of an egalitarian, clasless, stateless society based on common ownership and control of the means of production and property in general"

state or worker ownership =/= common ownership. Therefore socialism =/= communism which is what you are saying

[QUOTE="DannyDelorian"][QUOTE="Famiking"] It's equality in general :? - like how you defined communism.Famiking

Socialism ISN'T equality in general, I don't know who told you that. Socialism just means it is MORE equal rather than EXACT equal, which is what Communism is. Don't get me wrong, I am not a Communist, I don't believe it works for the simple reason that man is greedy, but yeah... Socialism is a fairer society

That's not socialism, that's a mixed economy. Capitalism and Socialism are both opposite ends. Communism is merely a form of socialism, socialism's goal is essentially working towards communism.

Who told you this bull- that Socialism and Capitalism are opposite ends? Socialism is a middle point between Capitalism and Communism, the REAL opposites. Read it up for yourself from a number of sources, rather than taking other peoples words for gospel (if that is what you have done). You need to keep a level head and an open mind to live in the real world, friend
