Quite the opposite: headsets almost always have WAY better sound quality. With me, the headphones are preferable when I want to seriously play an online game or feel immersed, and speakers are for teh internetz. Excuse the internet talk. :P

Basically, if you invest in an extremely expensive headset of about $25 like mine then you may find the quality to far surpass your speakers. Unless you're pressing your speakers to your ears, that is. Headphones are concentrated and they don't have to pump out the volume like speakers, so they can afford great quality. With speakers, you have all this space between them and you, and it has to have enough power to get the sound across.

Just buy a $25 headset and you'll see how good headphones can be.

I think it makes this PC faster. Just my impression.

No. An Atheist president (I believe you mean a non-religious President) would be prejudiced against religion, which is the majority of the US.

I encourage a religious President as long as it's a morals-only sort of thing that effects his decisions. Christians, Catholics, Jews, Mormons and more (just to name a few) all have morals involved with their religion. That's a good thing for the President to have, but if they're making major desicions based on religious or non-religious prejudices, that's not good.

Either Crysis and The Orange Box if you have a good gaming PC, oryou could put it toward a graphics card update to an 8800GT to have a good gaming PC.

Those 2 games ROCK!!

I didn't know it was such an even vote :o

Anyway, let me remind you that AMD's top-top-top of the line AMD Phenom 9600 Quad core CPU is ~$220, and Intel's top-top-top of the line Quad Core CPU is ~$1000. In. Sane.

I like AMD. :D

I am personally a big fan of AMD CPUs. I've never had any luck with Intels, and though they seem to be ahead in the CPU market right now, they always seem underpowered and overpriced to me. So that's where you come in! Which one would you rather use?

The only thing I can suggest is replacing the big circular battery on the motherboard. That's what keeps track of the time. Sounds like that's what's causing the problem, but who knows...

OH! Crysis=one of the greatest games ever made. BUY IT!

It actually does have a great storyline, but it's hard to reveal it without spoiling the whole game for you.

But basically, you're on a recon mission to rescue the survivors of a North Korean raid, and things spin off from there....

Those will all run great on that system.

I have slightly worse of those specs you showed and I can easily max out all those games at 1680x1050.

I have a 3200+ AMD and an 8600GT, and 3GB DDR RAM.

I just got a new CPU (AMD Phenom Quad-core 9600) and new RAM (2GB DDR2) and a motherboard. It's gonna be great :D
