While I'm not sure just how much polish the game can receive in those couple weeks I'm glad that there are still companies out there that are willing to push back the release of a game so that it's a better game instead of rushing it out the door and patching it afterwards. I miss when that was the norm and not the exception.
If they were going to bring Horizon to any screen, a TV screen seems to be the better choice in my opinion. I can't see a movie giving us the same level of detail we could get with a season long series. They would need to cut out so much.
I'm not surprised to hear about the Wonder Woman cancellation. They spent way too much on the hair physics. I am disappointed that they are shuttering so many studios. Live-service games are a slippery slope and if you lose at 2 of them like that maybe you should rethink doing live-service games!
If the game is still delayed into Spring 2026 it will still outsell whatever COD is dropped this fall. It will outsell pretty much any game that it goes up against. I'm just sad that I have to wait at least an extra year for it to come to PC.
