we'll probably see this one around Christmas 2025 and that's only for consoles if we're lucky. If they do a PC port of the game, it'll be around 2027 before we see that, but I suspect it'll be worth the wait, like it was for GTA5 and RDR2.
Last night before I went to bed I saw it on Steam and went to have a look. The Mostly Negative review status blew my mind for a moment before I started reading the reviews and then I knew it was good to avoid this one for a while. At that time it had 975 reviews and a 21% positive rating. I doubt it's better now.
Honestly, I don't expect to see this game before at least summer 2025 if we're lucky. Otherwise, if it doesn't get a big delay, I expect to see it by the holidays 2025. The PC port maybe around 2027, though it would be nice if the PC port came out with the console versions.
I jokingly called all the streaming services like the old cable wars between HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime where they were all fighting for your cable dollars. With them all suddenly including ads it's more akin to the basic cable channels you have today but we all get to pay so much more for them.
while I'm sad about the loss of E3 I'm not surprised since they couldn't really revive it after Covid. All the big gaming companies do their own online showcases these days so why make the effort to travel all the way to E3 when they can do it in-house.
This article was posted less than an hour ago and now the reaction on Steam to this game is "Overwhelmingly Negative" and it's upvotes are down to 19%. Someone's getting sued!
I am a serious proponent of physical media. The major problem with streaming services is that they can alter the movie from what you saw in theaters (I'm looking at you Disney!) but what's on a disc you bought off of a shelf will always be what you saw in theaters!
