Wow, this is creepy...

Oh, Lauria Penbrook: Defender of Ravenclaw Tower has been moved to fanfiction.net if you wish to read it. Anyway, I was looking through the list of Hogwarts teachers on wikipedia because I was bored, and they all remind me of a teacher I have now or have had in the past! Here's the list:

Trelawney- My 6th grade math teacher. Every once in a while, she'd go like totally still, then start screaming.

Umbridge- A combo of my 6th grade reading teacher and my art teacher. I hate them both. My old reading teacher was so bossy you wouldn't to throw something at her, and my art teacher because she is obnoxious and has some weird obsession with cats. Umbridge is a b*tch.

Dumbledore- My beloved science teacher. They're both random andbizarreas hell, but you love them both anyway.

Snape- Stupid Mrs. Sills!!!!! I HATE HER SO MUCH!!!!! She looks for any excuse at all to get me into trouble because she's a big b*tch and I hater her! But so does everyone else except for stupid Theresa. She can be Malfoy. :P

McGonagall- My mom. She gives you that tough love approach, and sometimes it even seems like she hates you. Butreally, she's just beingfair.

Hagrid- My social studies teacher. They're both fun and there's something about them you just have to like. Except for the fact that you don't have to avoid wearing V necks in Hagrid's c-l-a-s-s... Bowerman's a perv.

OMG, this is hysterical!!!!!

OK, OK, OK, today is my last day of Christmas break before I have to go back to school, and both my parents had to work today, so I'm home alone. Well, my lunch was huge! I had a big plate of popcorn chicken and a can of Mountain Dew. I went out into the garage to see if my dog wanted to come in, then I came back in through the kitchen. I felt this feeling in my stomach, it felt like a burp. It was, so I let it out. OMG IT WAS LOUD!!!!! And the best part was the basket ontop of the fridge fell off because of the sound!!!!! I laughed for like 20 minutes, it was so funny!

Hoist The Colours/Dharma and Greg Clip

ARGH! I have the theme song from Pirates 3 stuck in my head!!!!! I like it though. It's a cool song. You know, it's that song at the beginning when everyone is getting hanged and this little boy holds what I think is one of the 9 Pieces of 8 and he starts to sing Hoist The Colours and then everyone joins in. I have the lyrics and the youtube video if you want to see it. Oh, I also found out that the song was about the love fo Davy Jones and Calypso and how he betrayed her. It said so on the Story Behind Hoist the Colours on the DVD.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuKx7AgHLes

The king and his men stole the queen from her bed
And bound her in her bones
The seas be ours, and by the powers
Where we will, we'll roam

Yo ho all together
Hoist the colours high
Heave, ho, thieves and beggars
Never shall we die

This pretty much sums up the show Dharma and Greg. My favorite part is when Dharma and Edward are out fishing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_f9qIWN5yE

Dharma: I had no idea you were so much fun.

Ed: Hey, I put the "F-U" in fun little lady.

If you don't get it, just repeat it to yourself until you do or get itsomeone else to read it and explain it to you.

Favorite Quote EVER

This is my favorite quote. It's from the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. It's said by Ruth to Idgieshortly afterRuth's husband, who used to beat her before she ran away, came back and tried to kidnap their son.

"I had a dream the other night. I dreamt that Buddy was gone. I ran to his crib and there he was, sleeping like an angel. I thanked God for letting me still have Buddy and I remembered having the same reaction after Frank would beat me, thanking the Lord fo giving me the strength to take it. Then I remembered thanking the Lord for each day my mother lived. Even when she was spitting up blood and praying for me to kill her. I looked in my mother's eyes, pleading for me to help her... and all I could do is pray. While you were gone and I was home with Buddy, I thought, 'If that bastard Frank Bennett ever tries to take my child, I won't pray. I'll break his neck.'" -Ruth Bennett, Fried Green Tomatoes

Lauria Penbrook

Here's chapter 3 of Lauria Penbrook. Enjoy.

"Emily, what does the requirement list say?" Ben asked. "We should probably know what we're looking for before we begin."

"Right then," Emily said as she searched her pockets. "Where is that blasted thing?"

"Here, Mommy," Lauria said as she gave her mother the paper that had been stashed away inside her own coat pockets.

"Ah, thank you, dear," she said as she read it out loud.

"First on the list... Three sets of plain black robes."

"What other clothing items are there?"

"One pointed black hat, one pair of protective gloves, and one black winter cloak. I know a shop where we can get all of that."

"Yes, so do I."

Ben and Emily looked at each other.

"Madam Malkin's!" they said together.

"Come along, children, this way," Emily said as she took Luke and Leena's hands. "Don't want you getting lost, now do we? Lauria, dear, walk in front of me, please." The family of five walked towards the clothing store. The minute they stepped into the store, a pudgy woman rushed over to them.

"Oh my, look at all of you sweet little children!" she said. "Now, which one of you is going to Hogwarts?"

"Lauria, here," Emily said, nudging her daughter forward. Madam Malkin eyed her like she was trying to peer into her soul.

"Right then. I know what you need. Come along," and with that she took Lauria by the hand and pulled her through the shop. Madam Malkin returned her to her parents ten minutes later with her robes and other garments.

"The girl should have everything she needs. Robes, a hat, a cloak, yup, I say she's all set."

"Thank you, Madam," Emily said while Ben paid and they left the shop.

The bookshop was after that, and then they stopped for lunch. The Penbrooks decided on a small, yet nice, café.

"Lauria, are you excited about going to Hogwarts?" Ben asked and smiled.

"Um, I guess so... Yes, very excited," Lauria responded.

"Won't be long before Leena here gets to go, too," he said, putting an arm around his younger daughter. "What about you, Leena? Are you excited for your sister?" Leena gave Lauria a hard stare.

"Yes. Very," she said coldly. Lauria was the only one who seemed to notice, and frankly, she felt a bit intimidated. They finished lunch and continued to shop. Ollivander's was next on their list.

"You'll need a good wand, dear," Emily said as she led her husband into the store.

Mr. Ollivander was a middle sized man, and a bit mad looking. He had white hair that stuck out at the sides, reminding Lauria of the composer, Ludwig van Beethoven. His eyes never really seemed to focus on the same thing. They were all over the place. He also had personal space issues. He didn't respect anyone else's.

"Ah, a new little witch," he said as he got a bit too closely to Lauria. He began to examine her. "I have just the thing. Hold on a minute!" The scraggly man disappeared behind the counter.

"Mommy, is he... all right?" Luke asked curiously.

"Luke, don't be rude!" Emily whispered crossly. But then she added, "Well yes, I suppose he can be a bit... crazy at times."

Ollivander returned, holding out a silver stick about a foot long.

"Twelve inches long, unicorn hair and a phoenix feather," he said and handed it to her. Lauria took it, although she wasn't quite sure had to do with it.

"Go on, child. Swish it around!"

Lauria did as instructed. A glowing light seemed to emerge form it.

"Ah, perfect! I just knew that one would take a shining to you," Ollivander said.

After they left, Luke tried to get hold of Lauria's hand.

"Can't I juts have a quick go at it? I promise I won't break it!"

"I know you won't break it, because you'll not get a chance to!"

"Mommy!" Luke said as he tugged on Emily's dress. "Can I please have a turn with Lauria's wand?"

Emily removed his hands. "No, Luke, dear. A wand only works well enough for the witch or wizard that it chooses. It will not accept another."

"But can't I just try?"

"No."

"Well then can I have my own wand?"

"When you get into Hogwarts."

"But that will be ages!"

"Only four years, dear."

"Like I said. AGES!"

"Say, Lauria," Ben said, interrupting the spat Luke and his mother were having. "Isn't your birthday coming up?"

"No," Lauria said and gave him an odd look. "My birthday is in December. It's the middle of August!"

Ben frowned. "Oh. Well then consider this an early present from your mother and I to you." The family stopped in front of the pet shop.

"What?"

"A cat! You're getting a cat!" Lauria broke into a grin. She loved animals! Dogs were her favorites, but you couldn't very well take a Golden Retriever into a magic school, could you? Unfortunatley, she could also feel Leena's cold stare on her back. What was that girl's deal?

Lauria decided on a female, white kitten with black paws and the tip of her tail was black, too. She decided to call her new kitty Starlight. Emily told her that it was a beautiful name, and began to pet little Starlight. Even Leena joined in. She too, loved animals and always wanted a cat.

As the day drew to a close, the Penbrooks finished their shopping and continued home. Again, they used Floo Powder to return. The fireplace in a pub called Leaky Cauldron was the one that was used.

By the time they arrived home, Starlight had fallen asleep in Lauria's arms. Emily helped her make a little bed in the room Lauria shared with Leena.

"There," Emily said, patting the soft cushion. "Starlight ought to be nice and comfortable."

Lauria sat the sleeping puffball on her new bed.

"Well, goodnight, girls," Emily said as she shut the door and turned out the light. Leena started to crawl into bed, but Lauria stopped her.

"I want some answers," she said crossing her arms.

"Like what?" Leena asked, with a look of confusion on her face.

"I want to know why you've been so cross with me. Ever since the letter came, you look at me like... Like I'm Satan!"

"Oh."

"Well?"

Leena began to cry.

"What's wrong?"

"It's because... I'm going to miss you!"

Lauria watched her sister.

"You're going to miss me? Oh come on, Leena! So is everyone else!" She sat down next to her little sister and put her arm around her.

"You aren't alone on this one, OK?"

Leena sniffled.

"Tell you what. I have about a week before I leave. We'll spend every waking moment together, all right?"

Leena stared at her with her big blue eyes.

"Promise?"

"I promise.

"Pinky promise?"

"Yes. Now go to sleep. We've got a busy week ahead of us."

The next week was full of fun and excitement for both girls. They spent almost nearly every single moment together. They wanted to make every second count. The pretended they were princesses locked in a tower, played board games and puzzles, and did each other's hair. Of course, those were all Leena's ideas. On the day before Lauria left for Hogwarts, she made Leena go outside with her and play pioneers.

It happened to be Lauria's favorite game. Her Aunt Julia lived in America and told her and Luke and Leena stories about how pioneers had tamed the Wild West in the 1800's. Lauria found it quite interesting and pretended that she was going to travel across the prairie. This, of course, was much too "rough" for Leena. But, since she picked all the other games, it was only fair that Lauria picked this game. But all good things must come to an end eventually. The next day, Lauria would leave for school.

It was night, but Lauria and Leena couldn't sleep. They were in bed, but instead stayed up half the night talking.

"What do you think Hogwarts will be like?" Leena asked as she stared at the ceiling.

"I don't know. Mommy says that there's a lot of stuff to do. She says that I'll learn all kinds of things."

"Promise me one thing. Promise me that no matter how much fun you have, you'll take a few minutes out of every day to remember me, OK?" Leena whispered.

Lauria nodded in the darkness.

"OK. Promise."

Alvin and the Chipmunks/Lauria Penbrook

I saw Alvin and the Chipmunks today! It was FUNNY! I bought The Witch Doctor on my iPod. :P OK, Bry was bugging me to put the new chapter of Lauria Penbrook on here so here it is.

Chapter 2: The Letter

The letter came early on Saturday morning. Ben Penbrook had already left for work. Emily was making her three children a pancake breakfast. Luke and his cowboy and Indian plastic figures were sprawled all over the living room floor, while Leena was helping Emily and Lauria sat comfortably in the living room in Ben's colossal, over stuffed chair reading a book on magic folk.

"Luke, dear, get the mail, please!" Emily said when she heard it come through the slot in the door. "My hands are full!"

Luke scowled. He was in the biggest battle he'd had with his toys yet! But he did as his mother asked. He shuffled to the door and picked up the letters.

"What is there, dear?" Emily asked.

"Let's see, a letter from Grandma for Mommy, two bills, a letter for Leena from some girl named Carrie..." Leena ran from the kitchen eagerly and squealed as she snatched the letter from Luke's hands.

"My pen pal," she explained to her family as she tore opened the letter. "Carrie lives in the states."

"Anything else, Luke?" Emily called.

"Just a letter for Lauria."

Lauria looked up from her book. "For me?" she asked. She had not been expecting anything.

"That's what it says," Luke said as he handed it to Lauria, who read the envelope out loud.

"Miss L. Penbrook

The Second story bedroom, first on the right

Country Road, Outskirts of Town.

Wow, that's oddly specific on the bedroom part."

Emily darted into the room and seized the letter from Lauria. "Can it be?..." she asked under her breath.

"Can what be, Mommy?"

Emily started to open the letter, but stopped and handed it to her oldest daughter instead.

"Here, Lauria. It's yours. You should open it."

"Um, OK." She carefully tore off the envelope, in case it contained something of great importance and value.

"What does it say? Read it out loud, dear. Please," Emily said with eagerness in her voice.

"It's from some guy named... Albus Dumbledore..."

"What kind of a name is Albus?" Leena asked with an obnoxioustone in her voice.

"Hush!" Emily said harshly and gave her middle child a sharp look. She immediately transformed back into the "sweet and caring" mom with the kind of oh so sweet smile that made you wonder if you would catch diabetes. "Continue, dear."

"Dear Miss Penbrook,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1.

Yours sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall,

Deputy Headmistress," Lauria finished reading the letter and looked up at her mother in confusion. "Is this some sort of a joke?"

Emily clapped her hands in delight. "On the contrary, my dear! This is a wonderful opportunity for you! Your father and I both attended Hogwarts! That's where we met."

"You told us you and Daddy met on a trip to London!" Leena exclaimed.

"Well, we had to tell you children something in case you weren't accepted to Hogwarts. We didn't want to expose any of you to magic until we were sure you would be admitted. Of course, just because Lauria has doesn't entirely mean that Leena and Luke will... But Squibs are extremely rare, so I doubt that will happen."

"Mommy, what's 'Hogwarts'?" Lauria asked.

"Oh, Hogwarts! Of course! That's the school where they train young witches and wizards. It's like a... A boarding school, if you will."

"Boarding school?" Lauria said in distaste as she crinkled her nose.

"Oh, not some stuffy old thing like your Aunt Clara went to. No, this is a special school where you will learn all different types of magic."

Lauria's eyes lit up. She was always eager to learn a new magic trick, or two.

"I'm so delighted! I must go call your father right this minute!: and with that, Emily rushed off into the kitchen to pick up the phone.

Leena looked crestfallen. "So you're going away for school this year?" she asked.

"I guess so."

"I see." Leena turned and went up the stairs to her room.

"Leena, breakfast is almost ready!" Lauria called after her.

"Not hungry."

Lauria watched her leave. Emily returned.

"Oh, Lauria! Your father is just as thrilled as I am!... Where's Leena?"

"Upstairs."

"Oh dear, she's not sick, is she?"

"She said she wasn't hungry," Lauria said and looked away.

"Well, we'll have to get you your school books and such. We'll go shopping tomorrow, all right, then?"

"OK."

"Can I go too?" Luke piped up.

Emily patted him on the head. "Oh course, dear. We'll all go."

Tomorrow came a bit faster than Lauria would have liked. Leena hadn't spoken to her at all the day the letter arrived. In fact, she hardly spoke to anyone at all. But, she willingly came on the trip to London with them.

"We'll have to start in Diagon Alley," Ben said. Sunday was the one day of the week when he didn't work. He worked up at the local book shop, Prints.

"Where?" Lauria asked.

"Oh, it's in the Wizard's section of London. You'll see when we get there, dear," Emily said as she held onto Luke's hand. "Children, we're going to be traveling by Floo Powder. Your father will go first, so you can watch him. You stand in the fireplace and take a handful of this green dust, Floo Powder, and you shout the name of your destination in a calm, clear voice, and then you drop the dust. Does everyone have it?"

Lauria, Leena, and Luke all nodded.

"Well, we best be off, then," Ben said as he scooped up the green powder in his hand. He stepped into the fireplace. "Diagon Alley!" Ben tossed the dust to the ground, and with a sound that was like an explosion, and he vanished.

"Where did he go?" Luke asked, his eyes wide with fear.

"Don't worry, dear, it's nothing to be afraid of. He's gone to Diagon Alley. So will the rest of us. Luke, would you like to go next?" Emily offered as she held out the sack.

"Oh yes!" Luke greedily stuck his little hand in it and withdrew a fist full of the stuff. He eagerly ran to the fireplace. But when he reached it, he stood there, wondering what to do.

"It's OK, Luke, dear. Just do what your father did."

Luke nodded. "Diagon Alley!" He too, vanished.

"OK, girls, which one of you is next?"

"I'll go," Lauria spoke up.

"All right, then. Grab some Floo Powder and off you go."

As Lauria reached her hand into the sack, she noticed that the Floo Powder didn't feel at all grainy like sand. In fact, it was smooth. Silky, even.

"So I just shout 'Diagon Alley' and throw the stuff, then?" Lauria asked as she studied the green dust.

"Yes."

"All right, here goes nothing." She stepped into the fireplace. "Diagon Alley!"

Lauria seemed to have been sucked into the fireplace. The next thing she knew, she was in a swirling vortex of light and color. Then she was spat out into what she guessed must have been Diagon Alley.

She landed on the ground with a giant thud. Ben held out a hand.

"It's a rough landing. I should've warned you."

"Yeah, well-"

Lauria was cut off by Leena emerging from the vortex and landing on top of her. Emily came out a few moments later, only managed to land gracefully.

"Come on, girls. It's time to go," she said as she helped the two up. "You'll just love shopping in Diagon Alley. It's simply marvelous!"

Happy New Year!/Lauria Penbrook Goes to Hogwarts

Happy New Year everyone!!!!! Yesterday, me and my mom and my dad watched Mr. Bean's Holiday and Pirates of the Carribbean 3: At World's End while we were waiting on the new year. Usually we all pile into my dad's giant chair, but this uear, Dad was in his chair, Mom was in my moon chair, and I was on the couch and we all just held hands instead. It was fun. Dick Clark needs to retire. He's old. He was on Dharma & Greg a lot. My favorite appearance from him was the time Greg had to go hang out with Jane in her apartment and all her crazy friends kept trying to lick his face and calling him "the watcher". Then the door bell rings and Greg goes to answer it and Dick Clark is standing there and... I'll just type it out for you.

Random Lady: Everyone! Think a number and lick the watcher's face!
Doorbell: DING DONG!

Greg: I'll get it! (opens the door) Dick Clark?!? Trust me, you do NOT want to come in here!

Dick Clark: Ooooh, you must be the watcher!

:P

Lauria Penbrook Goes to Hogwarts is a fanfiction of Harry Potter I made. This is the first chapter.

"Come on, Lauria!" her mother called from the swing set where she and Leena were teaching little Luke how to pump. Lauria Penbrook glanced up from her book.

"No thanks, Mom."

"Aw, but darling, it's a nice sunny day, and all you want to do is sit underneath that umbrella and read that silly book!"

"That's right."

"Leena, dear, you help your brother," Mrs. Penbrook said and made her over to Lauria. "Honestly, Lauria, I worry about you. All you do is read! Wouldn't you rather play with your brother and sister?"

"No, not really," Lauria said and made no effort to make eye contact.

Mrs. Penbrook sighed. "Please, dear? For me?"

"You got me out of the house, didn't you?"

"I suppose that's true..." Mrs. Penbrook crouched down so that she would be eye level with he daughter. "Lauria, look at me, darling."

Lauria glanced up.

"I'm very tired, dear. I've been a housewife since you were born. Your father goes to work everyday and leaves me to take care of the three of you. I'm asking this of you as a favor, Lauria. Keep and eye on Leena and Luke for me. Just for an hour or so. Just long enough for me to take a nap."

Lauria closed the book and sat it down on the ground.

Mrs. Penbrook breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, dear."

Her mother went inside their two-story home, and Lauria made her way over to her two younger siblings.

"Yay! Lauria's gonna play with us!" Luke shouted gleefully. Lauria grinned and patted her 7-year-old brother on the head. "That's right, kid."

"Let's play explorer!" the little boy said as he jumped up from the swing and pumped his plump little fists in the air.

Leena rolled her eyes. "Really? Can't we play something a little more quiet?"

"Aw, come on, Lee. If you had your way, we'd all be doing puzzles."

"I hate puzzles!" Luke declared and crossed his arms.

"Fine then. We'll play explorer," Leena said as she tossed her blonde curls behind her.

Laura and Leena looked like their mother, whereas Luke looked like the children's father. The girls had wavy, almost curly, long blonde hair and sapphire eyes. The boys' hair was somewhat chestnut with big, dark brown eyes.

Benjamin Alan Penbrook had grown up in the hustle and bustle of the city and decided that he preferred the country. He met Emily Amelia Benson on a trip to London once, and they got married. The couple moved into the country where Ben built the house for his wife. Five years later, Lauria Michelle had been born.

Lauria briefly remembered life without her sister, Leena Marie. She had been only 2 years old, a baby, when the "Little Miss Know It All" child entered the world. And two more years had gone by when Luke Michael was born. Lauria's days before him were more recallable.

She remembered a time, while her brother was barely three years old, when she and Leena had played a game they called Psychic.

Five Years Earlier

"Come on, Leena. It'll be fun!" Lauria said as she coaxed her baby sister underneath the opening in the back of the large pine tree in her back yard. The five year old crossed her arms and stamped her foot.

"No way, Laurie!" she said using her older sister's nickname, since she could not yet say 'Lauria' correctly.

"Well why not?"

"Because I don't want to play your stupid game! Rosetta and me were going to have a tea party! And you're not invited!" Leena said, nose in air, as she prepared to walk off towards the house. Lauria ran after her, and snatched Rosetta out of her hands.

"Hey!" Leena cried out in protest. Lauria ran back to the cut out in the pine tree.

"LAURIE! COME BACK HERE WITH ROSETTA!" Leena chased her.

When she arrived, Lauria was leaning against the trunk of the tree, with Rosetta sitting high above her head in a branch.

"GIVE ME ROSETTA!" Leena screamed furiously as she tried to punch Lauria in the stomach. The little girl's blonde pigtails flopped around as she shook her head violently.

"Ouch! Hold on, squirt! Play my game and you can have Rosetta back, OK?"

Leena wiped her hot tears away.

"Promise?" she sniffled.

"Promise."

"Pinky promise?" the younger sister stuck out her littlest finger.

"Pinky promise."

"OK, how do you play?"

Lauria smiled triumphantly. It was no easy task getting her sister to play games with her. Especially if they were of Lauria's own invention.

"The name of the game is Psychic. Sit down on the ground and close your eyes."

"But the ground is dirty!" Leena declared in shock. She hated being even close to filth.

Lauria rolled her eyes. "Look, do you want Rosetta back, or not?" Leena looked uneasy, but she did as Lauria asked, though she sat on her heels. Lauria sat down in front of her.

"Now close your eyes."

"OK."

"Think of the meanest meanie you can think of. Now tell me who they are and what they did."

Leena scrunched up her face. "Well, you stole Rosetta..."

"Sisters don't count."

"Fine then. Dummy Meredith Winkler stole my cookies at snack time... I told Mrs. Crumb what she did, and Dummy Meredith told Mrs. Crumb that I had already eaten my cookies, and that she tried to share hers with me when I tried to sneak one. Only I didn't want to share and tried to blame everything on her! Mrs. Crumb made me stand in the corner."

Lauria smiled. It wasn't very nice of Meredith to steal her sister's cookies, but it was kind of cute that Leena was still this upset about it. After all, it had happened last week. Poor Leena had come home in tears. Mrs. Penbrook held her youngest daughter while she sobbed and told her about the whole thing. Lauria wasn't the type to get upset over such small things.

"OK. What do you think the best punishment for Meredith should be?" Lauria asked.

"Something bad! I wish the worst possible thing would happen to her!"

Lauria guessed by that comment that Leena wished that all of Meredith's hair would fall out and her parents would give away all of her dolls. Lauria handed Leena a piece of paper and a pen.

"Write down specifically what you wish would happen to her," Lauria instructed. Leena may have only been 5, but she could read and write. Their mother had made sure that each of her children were getting an early start. Lauria already knew her times tables and Little Ben was learning his alphabet. Leena finished and handed the paper back to Lauria, who began to tear it up into even squares.

"Now eat them," she said returning them to Leena.

"Eat them? No way! This is a silly game!"

"Do you want Meredith to pay or not?"

Leena looked undecidedly at the paper bits.

"All right then..." She took them from her sister and shoved them in her mouth and began to chew.

"Leena, you don't chew paper!"

"But Mommy says to always chew your food before you swallow it."

Lauria clapped a hand to her forehead. "Paper isn't... Listen, do you chew your apple sauce?"

Leena thought for a moment. "No."

"How about your cottage cheese?"

"No."

"Then you don't need to chew paper!"

"Good point," Leena said as she swallowed. "Now. Give me Rosetta."

"Girls!" their mother called from inside the house. "Girls, come inside! Quickly!"

Lauria climbed up the tree like a squirrel and dropped the doll back down to Leena, who stuck her tongue out at her.

"What, I kept my promise, didn't I?"

"Yes, but you're still a mean big sister!"

Lauria jumped down from the tree. "I don't like to think of it as mean, more like... harassment."

"GIRLS!"

"COMING MOM!" Lauria shouted back. "Come on, kid."

Emily Penbrook was sitting inside the kitchen at the table. She wore a troubled expression and was sipping hot tea.

"What's wrong, Mommy?" Leena asked as she clutched her doll.

"Oh girls, you know that girl, Meredith Winkler?"

The sisters exchanged glances nervously and nodded.

Emily sighed. "Well it appears that she and her family were in a car accident a few minutes ago."

Leena held Rosetta tighter. "Is... Is she OK, Mommy?"

Emily rubbed her temples. "Well, her parents are. But I'm afraid... I'm afraid Meredith didn't make it. She died, girls."

Needless to say, the Penbrook sisters never played a game of Psychic again. And never did they mention the game to anyone, either. As Lauria and Leena grew older, Leena decided it was a coincidence and forgot about it. But Lauria never forgot. She was curious. She spent all her spare time reading up on magic, and psychic powers, generally anything of the paranormal. Vampires intrigued her quite a bit. Little did Lauria Penbrook know that her studies would pay off in due time.

I figure that Death Note is too new of a show for it to be in there, and I don't know about Kodocha. It's just as popular as Fruits Basket and it as almost all the same voice actors. Maybe I just wasn't giving good enough clues. Here's all the voice actors Fruits Basket and Kodocha have in common. Why? Because I can and my birthday is tomorrow. :D

I'm rereading Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone because my life has no meaning and it's giving me a break from being a couch potato. I stumbled across this passage and I really quite like it. :P

Albus Dumbledore had gotten to his feet. He was beaming at the student, his arms opened wide, as if nothing could have pleased him more than to see them all there.

"Welcome!" he said. "Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak! Thank you!"

He sat back down. Everbody clapped and cheered. Harry didn't know whether to laugh or not.

"Is he-a bit bat?" he asked Percy uncertainly.

"Mad?" said Percy airily. "He's a genius! Best wizard in the world! But he is a bit mad, yes. Potatoes, Harry?"

End of passage. (My parents are downstairs watching the Patriots game. They despise the Patriots. The only reason they're watching is becaus ethey want them to lose, and it's not uncommon for them while they're praying to say, "Dear God, please let the Patriots lose..." :P)My birthday is the 31st and Mom's planning my family birthday party tomorrow at 5. Tomorrow is also Lucas's brother, Jack's, birthday. He will be 15. Anyway, I dislike family birthday parties with a passion, especially my own. But at least it's over break and I don't have to waste a perfectly good weekend. :D We're having all 20 of my main relatives in my house. My poor rabbit will be scared to death! My dad's mom has this loud obnoxious voice and Bugsy hides in fear whenever she gets near him. And my younger cousin Zach always tries to grab him. My uncle Joe and aunt Angela and their kids, Katie and baby Jared, probably won't even be there because Angela is kinda bizzarre and it's usually her way or the high way and they're going to some church thing. But she gives cool Christmas presents, so I'm nice to her. :P My dad's dad walks reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally slowly (Estimate ofless than amile per hour. No joke.) and follows me around, wanting hugs. It gets obnoxious really fast. The only two of my cousins I can really relate to are Emily and Kody. Kody is only a grade ahead of me and we go to the same school, so I see him around a lot. We're good friends. Emily is 17, but there's a special bond between us. Anyway, the point is my relatives are totally obnoxious and I would rather spend tomorrow alone. I told Mom this and asked why we even had to have the stupid thing in the first place and she said it was because the family wanted to see me. My B-Day party with my pals will be fun. The date is undecided, but we're 100% sure that we're going roller blading at Great Skates in Lafayette. Do you know where that is, Bry? I wantyou to come!
