After a few weeks of searching for Okami or "Ookami" for you die hard Japanese people, my local GameStop finally had 1 used copy in stock. I picked it up immediately, of course.
I've had some bad run in's with local game retailers before, and I was wondering what you guys might think of YOURS. For instance, a lot of people in the gamespot forums say their GameStop suck, and/or provide them with the worst service, but the one a couple blocks away from my house have cool employees and awsome service. I frequently go to my local GameStop because of their service, on the other hand there's a Game Crazy near my house aswell, but several times they have put me on hold and NEVER came back. Just yesterday I was just calling them for a megaman game, then they told me to hold on while they check the computer... FOR 20 MINUTES, then I just hung up. It has happened way too many times to be because they're "packed". And please, nothing like EBay, because you never really meet the person. On the other hand, Craigslist is okay because of the wide variety of people selling their stuff, they can be abnoxious, kind, sincere, jerks, etc. The reason why I'm posting this in the legacy forums is because all the current generation systems/games are so popular, it doesn't provide real challenges to finding a desired game. If you call GameStop and ask if they have, say Halo 3 for the 360, they probably know if they have it or not off the top of their head. On the other hand, if you call and ask for say, Ico for the ps2, then they're probably going to say, "Let us check to see if we have it." Put you on hold, check the computer, then get back to you whenever they feel like it. I understand that stores may be packed, and employees have their hands full, so only post what happens so many times that it COULDN'T be because they're packed and busy.
Hmmm, I see, so I should get it later? I think I wanna upgrade my attache case first, so what do I buy to upgrade it? I appreciate you coming back to this thread to help/comment.
