@STrugglingFool We're not JUST talking about making a game here though, we are talking about literally moving an entire company across the country, including the costs of the housing all the developers were promised.
But aside from that, it sounds like Schilling had a habit of pissing the money up the wall as well.
Bullshit, they are cancelling so they can save some face after the crowd-sourcing attempt was an amazing flop. It hadn't even raised a quarter of what they were after with days to go. Dyack is toxic and most gamers know it these days.
I suspect they gotten publisher attention though, which was probably their main objective all along.
