And as far as people go for bashing on its simplicity, it's actually a difficult task to make and RTS game complexed on a console without making it clunky and difficult to get into. The ease of playing rts games on a pc is widely thanks to a mouse and keyboard, Not as easy to do with the limited buttons and sticks on a console controller.

Mouse and a keyboard for hotkeys and multigroup control FTW

But from what I have read and seen, most consolites prefer to have less buttons to control a game, because they think that having many is too complicated. Maybe these people arejust fanboys trying bash the PC, but who knows.

But what they prefer is kinda irrelevant to what I said. I wasn;t talking about preferance, it's just flat impossible to make a good complexed RTS with a controller. Though just for the hell of it I'm primarily console and I don;t mind having a keyboard and mouse, hotkeys are ok in my mind.

That's exactly my point. ou just don;t have that many options with just four face buttons and the shoulders.

For me it will probably be the 360, I mean, I'm not too sure about what the lineup will bo totally, but it has been stealing a few 'exclusives' away from Sony. I eman God of War three may draw my attention, and Killzone is looking nice, but I'm not sure, I didn;t enjoy the first Killzone all that much. I'm no fanboy to any specific console, I was Sony last generation for the most part and am with Microsoft mainly right now. I think that the PS3 will start kicking some face in the later years, but right now alot seems to be going to MS, just to early in the year to tell which console will reign this year..And definetily to early for 2010.

Ya know, I think people may have misinterpreted this entire thread. By saying that Halo Wars would 'expand' the genre, I think he was talking about the demographic. Star Craft will most likely be the better of the two games, but it's hard to deny the fact that Halo has tons of fans that will buy the game because of teh Halo brand and from there get curious to try other RTS games. I doubt he was saying it would be revolutionary. It's just going to simply expand on the audience.

You might not want to even bother. Why have 2 open world sandbox crime games. GTA4 is there and widely considered to be the better series. Just go with that, if you don't have it, buy it now so you have money for October, and if you have it screw SR2 so you have some more left over cash.

It's actually pretty good, it's a fresh break from the Turn Based FF games...And yeah it is an action rpg with a FF twist. Good game, definetily worth buying.

It's really more of an average very linear shooter than anything. It's not atrocious, just not really great either. Not a buyer at all.

I have a **** load of vids I want to tranfer to my PSP, but can;t seem to find a good free converter to use. Anyone got a suggestion...And if not a free I guess a good mid range priced on would work too.

Ok, I don;t think it'll let you play campaign when you don't have a hard drive, or so I would guess. Just get a memory card if you don;t got the cash. And the people with (1) (2) next to their names, those are guests.
