Surprise hit meaning it did REALLY well and LOTS of people bought the game, fueling its success. I'm just curious, because I was trying to think back and all the games that were massive hits were either hyped or marketed as such, and people know about them before they came out. Does this really happen that often, or has it actually even happened? Just need some examples, I guess.shsonline
The original Tomb Raider :) Nobody knew about it before it was released, and it was one of the first third person shooters (in 3D)
