Is it possible to turn ur gamefaqs account in 2 a gamespot account or can u use it between both boards?

Hi I havent posted on these boards for a very long time and i wanted to ask some questions regarding these 2 boards gamespot/gamefaqs? I know that gamespot owns the gamefaqs boards so hmm I dont know how to exactly ask this or if it'll make sense lol. Do topics on these boards show up on the gamefaqs boards or are the 2 boards completely different? if they are completely different why is that why not just merge them? Also how would u find out how many members each board has? Sorry i know there kinda dumb questions lol but i just want to know for some reason thanks.
