@Stebsis: Yup, well a Bejeweled clone, Candy Crush, just sold for more than double what Minecraft did, one of the highest selling games of all time, and 30% more than the entire franchise of Starwars did.
So yeah, I would say losing faith is about the right reaction to this.
@suppaphly42: I have to say I kind of agree with her about this final chapter though. I didn't find it that great either. I had thoroughly enjoyed all the previous chapters up until now though.
It's still a great game imo. Worth playing without a doubt.
I spent a lot of time debating this final chapter in my head and I agree with this review wholeheartedly. It made nearly all the choices in the game so far pretty much irreverent and was a pretty lack luster ending.
@ughz: In DR2 you could just let the game timer fail out and then run around till the army arrived. All missions got cancelled. Kind of sandbox mode, if you will.
@shadybaby: Just keep an eye out for another Star Wars bundle special, which might happen soon again around the movies. I think at one point you could have picked up like every Star Wars game on Steam, Kotor 1 and 2 included, for like $20 total.
@lrdfancypants: I suppose, but I'm still not convinced, but I suppose if everyone owned all the platforms, then they would still wage wars over which colour was better.
It's true the X1 and PS4 are pretty much equal in strength (regardless of the people trying to say a few rows less pixels on resolution somehow makes a massive difference)
"honestly in a few weeks time someone can grab a couple of consoles bundled with games and likely gift cards or bonus games thrown in for around $600 if you are in the U.S." - True, but all these people arguing in the comments over which console is better are going to still probably have a hard time convincing their moms to buy it for them :P
@lrdfancypants: You are correct. Because you could at most have bought two consoles with that. I am going to take release market prices and list all "current gen"
