... But they set stretch goals, which they hit most of. Why would a developer set stretch goals if they didn't have enough to cover the base cost of the game still?

Not that hard to plan out more transformer movies:
Add robots
Add explosives
Add product placements
Hope a plot develops while shooting.

Guess I am not going to buy/play a Ubisoft game for a while still. The last Ubisoft game I played was Asscreed: Black Flag, and I am glad to have not bought Ubisoft a game since then.

Sheesh, never mind a limited edition PS4, any PS4 for only £19.94 would have sent people running. Arguably not in such droves though.
