It's not coming back either. I loved Bioshock, but I'm tired of hearing how it's not as good as System Shock 2. Can't you just rate the game itself as it is? It's like comparing Halo 3 to Halo 2. Everybody says Halo 3 is great but they never compare it to Halo 2. You know why? Because Halo 2 is older. Just my 2 cents. EDIT: I don't think newer games are any better than older ones.
The most original, innovative, creative and humorous game of the year versus one of the most derivative and boring games of the year? Do yourself a favour and go for Portal. BioShock isn't worth anyone's time, just get System Shock 2 and play the game that matters.foxhound_fox
Both have great, mysterious stories in my opinion, so I'd say get both. But just in case you've got Windows Vista and intergrated sound... Portal.
And btw, stop telling him how there's no point of buying Portal alone and he should get the Orange Box. He already said that he already has HL2, Ep. 1, Ep. 2.

Yeah but he doesn't have Team fortress 2, which is easily the best game in the orange box. I've had the orange box for weeks now and I have only played portal and TF2. Episode 1 just wasnt as interesting.
I personally think Team Fortress 2 was a waste. I don't care for it. I'd much rather get UT3 for multiplayer.If you have all the Half Life 2's then can't you buy Bioshock at the store and later buy Portal through steam? I'd have to look through Steam to see if it's for sale there. You have to get it someday though... great game.But you should get Bioshock first.
