i will explain [spoiler] after you complete the 4th dungeon you find out that ganondorf is sealed by these sages and he kills one of them after that they stab him with a sword and gets transported by some portal (twilight realm?) and if you wonder why i said this is because i was at the ign forum when these pictures came up [/spoiler]
