I know how they feel about AC. Most of the gameplay consist of collecting flags which is just lazy. As far as I know you don't even a reward for it. Recycled missions such as save this citezen or the four other variants pickpocket, interrogate, sitting on a bench, and time missions. Which usually don't get you anything interesting aside from an extra health bar. These and a few unforgivable things like having to leave the retreat after every mission just make the game average to me.
I played Galaxy at my friends house and got sad because I sold my Wii after two months of owning one earlier this year. I probably won't able to get one till next year now. Nice to see it getting more good scores.EndersAres
What interesting is that I heard many of the same complaints about Assassin's Creeddirected at Crackdown, but people seem to have more FUN with CD. So is the problem with AC that its just not as fun as it should be with its limited gameplay depth/options?
I haven't played AC yet, but I DID have a lot of fun with paper thin CD.
There have been some strong rumors recently about a sequel to Beyond Good and Evil coming for the 360, PS3 and Wii. As it will be a sequel to a game that didn't sell very well, many will not be very familiar with the story and all of the amazing plot developments in the first game.
So could MS possibly be holding out on backwards compatability for the original game as part of building hype for the rumored sequel coming possibly next year?
I´ve just found out that Metal gear solid 4 will be a PS3 exclusive and i was wondering if 360 will get an exclusive title just as strong and if anyone knows all the 2008 360 exclusives please share them with me.

While being as 'strong' as MGS4 will be a matter of opinion (many people don't like that series), it does have high profile exclusives that should turn out to be good-to-great games.
Ninja Gaiden 2, Alan Wake, Banjo 3, Fable II, Too Human, Splinter Cell Conviction, Halo Wars, Peter Jackson's Halo project ... and that's just what we know about. I'm sure there will be some surprises that haven't been announced yet. All of those games appeal to different types of gamers (or different aspects of an open-minded gamer).
2008 should be a good year for the 360. Maybe not as strong as this year, but we won't know that until the year is up.
Those are all theoretical numbers. We really don't know where humanity was 50,000 years ago.
Plus this game is science FICTION. Its telling the story Biowarewants to tell.
[QUOTE="adventures_of_J"]had mine since launch with no problems except the odd time when the discs won't read.
i really want to get Mass Effect but have heard alot of people complain that it caused their system to crash...any thoughts?
SMASHED_ASPHALT
I only had the disc read problem once when I first put ME in to start up and it froze up on me once in game, but that's it. Don't let what you hear about the game "crashing systems" stop you from getting this great game. I haven't heard of ME crashing any systems, just an occasional freeze for most and a disc unreadable once in awhile. If you get the game just save it somewhat often and you won't lose much of anything.
EDIT: Oh yeah, BTW I have had mine since Feb. '06.
I'll back this up to an extent: I've had LONNNNNNG days playing ME (5,6, 7 hours) and put 38 hours in my first play through. 360 bought on 12/22/05. No problems.
ME is a great, fantastic, generation defining classic game. Don't miss out!
Its less of a 'sex' scene than it is a 'love' scene. There is no actual 'sex' in the scene. The butt is not seen in an actual sex act. Just when the female is getting in the bed.
Its important to note, though, that this scene is COMPLETELY optional. You can choose not pursue the romance subplots and never see assari.
