Okay, there have been 3 Earthworm Jim games, #3 sucked, even hardcore EWJ fans were disgusted... but now theres hope for our squishy hero. A new PSP game has been announced called 'Earthworm Jim Jam'. Also sheduled for next-gen consoles. No word on any PC releases. Today I decided to show my love and support for Gamespot, pfft, either that or I just want some HD movies and enter those competitions. ;)
Anyway, I need to get hold of a video camera so I can take advantace of the super cool video blog features. Trust Gamespot to come up with that idea.

Giving up my World of Warcraft Addiction.

Hello everyone!
I played World of Warcraft for about 2 weeks straight, I reached a level 20 Night Elf Hunter... Then I realized that World of Warcraft is a never ending world, that means I'll be playing the game forever and ever. I also enjoy a good pay off at the end of a good game, imagine playing Half Life 2 forever - not reaching an end, just doing the same thing eventually.
World of Warcraft is spectacular game, but you might end up wasting your life playing that game, there is absolutely no pay off in the end, lucky for me I realized this in only 2 weeks of playing the game, other people have been playing it for years and then only realize it.
World of Warcraft is definatly worth buying and playing for a few weeks or months, its great fun - just not for years. Recently I cancelled by World of Warcraft subscription and got Tribes: Vengeance. My next blog will be about that game.
I was a bit dissapointed that there werent any cinematics to unlock in the game, that would really encourage me to play that game more than ever, the introduction cinematic in this game is the finest ever, l can't wait to see more of StarCraft Ghost cutscenes, their just as good... But thats for another blog.

Mortal Kombat Armageddon - New screens & trailer.

MKA debuted its teaser trailer and a whole bunch of screenshots over at IGN. Me being a super huge Mortal Kombat fan, got excited over this.

I loved Mortal Kombat Deception, Deadly Allience & Shaoulin Monks - the most recent games. I was quite sad to see that this Mortal Kombat title was not announced for next generation. Do you think they might make a port or something? Because I'd love to see Mortal Kombat for Next Generation.
Maybe they will be making a next generation game for the third Mortal Kombat Movie (MK Devastation - based on the third game) coming out in 2 years or so?
Mortal Kombat Armageddon will allow you to customize your own character - which seems quite cool. Call me old school but I've never ever wanted to make my own Mortal Kombat character, I mean - every single kind of character & power is already coevered by a different Mortal Kombat character, I always loved playing as a particular character, I guess it is a great feature to get more people into the game.
The graphics look fab, specially for Xbox - I wish those screenshots weren't crappy JPGS, I mean who doesnt use PNG these days? :p
Anyway, I hope Midway will do this game justice and add much more single player stuff in the game, because the Mortal Kombat Universe is really a place filled with great stories.

Why the Revolution is better than Xbox360 & the PS3.

Hey all,
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the PS3 and Xbox will rock the world. I love all the consoles, I just think that nintendo is always ahead in its own way, and in its own league. While Sony and Microsoft take punchs at each other Nintendo is at the side lines raking the money quietly. Compared to the revolution the 360 & PS3 arent near as enovative, the revolution gives more than just better graphics.
The Revolution is stepping out of the circle in the sand and doing something different. Its nice that the Xbox & PS2 had good controlers and graphics, but why should they stick with the same formula? The revolution is going to be much, much cheaper too, which will help it sell much more.
Every console has soemthing to offer, HD, blueray, funky controlers, exclusive games etc. Lets hope the Revolution & PS3 live up to their hype, the xbox 360 is proven to be a great console.
