I`m playing Lock`s Quest at the moment. Before I had played it I thought Lock`s Quest would be a childish and easy-to-play game like Drawn to Life. But it seems to be kinda cool and not that easy.
In Lock`s Quest your character`s name is Lock (duh!) who lives in a small town. Some years earlier there was a war going on. Encheneers, master constructors, versus clockworks, robots made for war. The war ended when Jacob, a hero, killed the creator of the clockworks. But in the present the clockworks are getting back, but from where? This is for Lock to find out.
Lock is an encheneer himself so he can build and repair fast. Lock travels to distant places where he must rescue the people from the clockworks. He (or you) does this by building walls, turrets, traps and allies to protect the source wells. Source wells are important to encheneers. Encheneers are only capable of building walls etc. when they have enough Source. Source can be gain by killing clockworks. By using your best strategies you can complete the Quest which takes a certain time.
I think the game is really fun. The clockworks are getting stronger and stronger. The time is getting longer and longer. And my defences are getting better and better. There are three difficulties (easy, normall, hard). I`m on normall right now. The strategy gameplay is just great for the DS.
