So i start the d/l 10 mins later its at 45% and i leave for class. Come back and im signed out of the ps3 network. I look around EVERYWHERE for the demo and its no where to be found. Also try re-entering my cody, which is not valid anymore.

So how do you get to the demo because i MUST be being an idiot and overlooking something.

Wtf?

[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="Aljosa23"]Who honestly cares about the spoilers to Generic Space Marine Shooter #5464565? :|Aljosa23

but...regurgitated space marine shooter #5464565 has pretty graphics!

I know man!

It looks soooo purrty that people think it will have an amazing story like MGS4! Oh wait...MGS4's story sucked.

Uhm. Excuse me but what does MGS4 have to do with Killzone 2?

Also what a poor analogy. I would of thought someone that plays such an amazing game series such as final fantasy(*rolls eyes*) would have been intelligent enough to compare Killzone 2's story to one such as Irobot(or a similarly made fun of story plot). Instead we see him comparing it to a story where the majority of people agree that said story is epic?

I know most, if not all trolls are immature, but where exactly is the line drawn between immaturity and straight up ignorance?

Anyways can't wait for Killzone 2! It will be a great game if you are a fan of FPS's.

Well i haven't had time to get it to the point of gaming(classes ect). I've been posting on my laptop and before i fix'd that problem it had never been booted up before. So far i've got most of the driver's installed and about to start Source d/l'ing.

I have run into one issue and its quite irksome. They sent me the 32 bit version of vista so right now only 3 gigs of my ram are being recognized >

[QUOTE="ch5richards"]Sounds like it could be a short between the case and the motherboard. You can test for this by setting the motherboard up outside of the case on a phone book or a box.Captain__Tripps

I put standoff screws in every avalable place they could be not just hwere the screws go. COuld this be shorting out hte board?

Why would you do that? You've got standoffs under your MB where there are no screw holes? Take the board out and try it out of the case, then take those extra ones out.

Already did that. I honestly didnt know stand offs where for grounding hte MB to the case i thought they where just something to raise it up a little bit. The standoffs where the problem.

Anyways other then being sent a 32 bit OS im good to go. Thanks for the help everyone especialy richards whos suggestion helped me fix the problem. Hope i didnt do any damage to the mobo

When that started happening to my system on an extreme scale, it turned out that one of my DIMMs was crapping out and would fail hard just a minute or two into Memtest86. The occasional "cut-power-and-reboot" on initial startup seems to be par for the course on a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3P Rev. 2.0 (particularly when overclocked), but you use an Asus P5Q Pro based on the P45 chipset-in other words, very different motherboard. I don't know if it's an issue with the Intel chipsets or what. ...Oh, wait, you've got a retention bracket with your HSF. Perhaps it's shorting out something underneath the CPU socket? (To be honest, I don't know what else it could be, aside from one of the parts being DOA.)NamelessPlayer

Would over tightning hte cpu heat sink caus this?
