Big fan of EU, HOI and CK (in this order of preference) and not much of a fan of victoria series....
I am even now playing EU 3 with a mod called Death and Taxes. It's a great mod.
What I do not like however from what has been presented is that I was hoping that they increase the time period. they said that the period will run up until the late XVIIIth century... that's 1799 tops.. I want it to run till the beginning of the XXth century :(.
They also cut 50 years since the game usually started in EU3 in 1399 autumn... and now its 1443 winter. :(
Just 1 national trait and 2 special units/unit+building is too little. Also, I don't feel like the special units fit some of the civs pretty well.
All in all, I am getting this for the mods that may spring out of it. I won't get it at full price... maybe when there's a sale on. Not in much of a hurry.
a lot of talk about loot and killing... not enough talk about going in the depths of the game. Story... almost nothing said about it. Level progression... not much said about it.
A disappointing review.
Anyway, I don't own D3. I intend to buy it when it is on at least a 20% sale.... I don't plan on giving 60euros even for D3.
First off: condoleances to the guy with the fishing mod.
Second: Man, this makes me want to replay Skyrim. I finished the game twice and they decided to wait for a few official DLC's (you know, like Bethesda usually releases over the course of 1-2years) and then make a massive campaign with all the official DLC's and the best mods available at the time... but man... I don't know if I have the willpower to hold it.
