GOTY take

Thought better and blogged this:

Left 4 Dead is a confusing concept to me. I guess if you are judging games by the community they appeal to its ok to give them a high score but I got this game based on reviews and was dissapointed that it had no story, no begining and no end. One of the video game pundits coined it best when they said "Its the Valve Pass." To me it never should have scored near a 9 nor get GOTY nomination.

GoW2 is my most improoved game more than Resistence 2. I am a dying breed of gamer that enjoys single player campaigns with storylines and not to kean on going online to prove I can virtually shoot someone in the face. R2 went in the wrong direction by focussing totaly on multiplayer and leaving game play in the first on the side of the road. GoW2 added a plot and a depressing story, though very entertaining. It suffered from the S.O.S. syndrome of sequals that prevent it from GOTY. (Same Old S.....)

My fav for GOTY is MGS4, it deserves it, its my favorite game of all time. Kudos to Far Cry 2, Dead Space, and LBP. My "slap yo mamma" game that I like but nobody else did is the SW:Force Unleashed.

Get over it people!

Its funny how after the PS3 launched nobody could say anything bad about the system in general but its lack of games and price. Now that PS3 is out and delivering the same games 360 has; people are trying to bash for the games that didn't get re-released when PS3 wasn't around.

What bugs me are the crybabies that feel entitled to all systems and games but don't want to pay for them. I own all systems (2 each) and self admittedly claim PS3 as my fav. I don't get the knock on Sony to solve issues that are not theirs to solve.

Trophies Day

I had a really good day with trophies. In one sitting on Super Stardust HD I got the Scrooge MacBoom (bronze); Well Prepared (silver); and Scenic Route (Silver). For the first time I cracked 25 million. 8)

My gaming set up!

Main set up. Mitsubishi 50" DLP, Pioneer 5.1 Reciever w/ Marantz Amp. Paradigm speakers and sub. 360 xbox and PS3 shown. Sanyo LCD TV for tube while gaming.

Conflict: Denied Attempt at being GRAW or RB6

Addictively mediocre.

This game screems bad a__. It is to a point then you can see why reviewers will treat this game harshly. Graphics remind me of a 1rst gen title. The game play is: been there done that. The characters are typical. They tried to rip off GRAWs cover system but failed.

The good about the game is that its not linear! All the missions allow you to ambush or flank enemies from multiple directions. The humor had me chuckle a couple of times. And the audio comments such as "Die motha f___a...die" catch you off guard but seem appropriate in the heat of battle. They half a__ the cover system but it still works. The buddy system allows you to get back to action if you are downed.

Someone on my PSN account told me to rent this but I bought it anyways. I got the $39.00 deal from Circuit City. I don't feel as bad that I didn't pay full retail for this game.

Overall - rental but passable

Great start to the new year.

I call BS on Sony! Its better to rumble. You don't miss it until you get to feel the action. Imagine 5 tanks, two rocket launchers and flamethrower all at once in Warhawk.

Works great. Battery time seems to be the same as the Sixaxis w/o rumble.

I feel comlete again. What a great start to the year.
