Why are lemmings trying to blame RROD on cows? Do you honestly think cows day dream about dieing 360s and wish it into reality? RROD is moot because lemmings have already sworn allegiance toMicrosoft and all its products, no matter how shoddy the product, they will defend it to the death.

I don't know why, but I believe Demos load and install faster if you choose the option to turn off system after completion. I obviously have both systems and have not noticed any big difference with the two. You also can port forward your PS3 on the router if you still think its slow.

For $100 bucks you can buy a PS2. It makes no sense to have BC on PS3. I still think the secret behind the new PS3 slim is that a firmware update can allow PS2 games to run on it through digital download.

That was pretty cool and I can see how U2 will become something more than just the game. Why do we have to use Halo as a bench mark for everything? Halo has never been that important to me as a gamer and I tire hearing about how stuff compares to it.

Sony obviously made the PS3 slim to compete with 360 in retail sales. Everyone is saying how this is a brilliant move, I believe a little late, but very nice for consumers in general. I still think its way to early to claim victory for any console (Wii included.) Its hard to deny the superior value you get from a PS3 vs 360 at $299 price point. Microsoft is betting that Halo:ODST will even-out the value scenario.

I can't get over how awkward the bumper buttons are on the 360 controller, and don't get me started on the d-pad (worse than a after market pelican controller.) Dualshock design is the most imitated design ever. Why fix what aint broke?

I suggest you go back and look at the numbers when PS3 and Xbox had plus $400 price tags. PS3 was winning month over month. Even worldwide sales after 360 price drop saw a dead heat race. Anyone with eyes and thumbs can see there really is no comparison at this price point. here

This is proof that MicroSoft is only selling 360 based on price, not value. If they are so sure that 360 has the superior software, then why would they react in such a desperate manner? Because, they know the PS3 is a better system with better features. Sony is not and will not lower the price based on market demand, but based on value. They waited until the system can be manufacturedat lower costbefore dumping the price to match 360 or Wii sales.

Side by side the PS3 is still a better deal.
