I agree there really was no other end for Ripley. The Aliens had already scarred her enough that she would be waking up in cold sweats clutching her chest for the rest of her life. What better way to end it for the character then her taking the monster that had ruined her life with her to the grave.
You know you saying that has me thinking you're one of those people who only like the first movie because the majority says it's good. Alien 3 goes right back to the roots of the series dumping the action and going back to the slow paced atmospheric oppressive approach of the first one.
I just think you have an easier time dumping on the third one because again majority says it’s not as good as the other two.
You know what i don't get. How anyone really took a liking to Hicks. I mean sure he is the second most likable marine next to Hudson but that’s simply because he’s “the nice Marine” but beyond that...there just isn't a lot of character there. So I don't get why anyone really cared that he died in the third movie.
Half of what you said makes no sense and what is so wrong with catering to a niche audience? No you don't need to respond because I know the answer to that. NOTHING!
