I don't see why they caved. All the people who were bitching are still bitching. More than likely those same people who bitched the most were never even thinking about buying the XB1 since the new consoles were announced and nothing was known about them.

@jrcast84 It's ultimately your choice, compare the launch titles and the launch window titles and see which one comes out on top. Also the kinect for the family is also a factor for you so there is that. I pre ordered my XB1. Good luck on making a choice it's tough sometimes!

@Kristhomas123 If by backlash from the Navy you're talking about a non-affiliated newspaper that is known for its over sensational journalism then sure they had backlash from the Navy.

@navyguy21 They do allow used games. They never said you couldn't trade in your disc based games. Also you will be aloud to share/give/sell your digital copies which is unheard of. I'm also in the Navy and as soon as I saw Navy Times I just let a big sigh and thought to my self here we go haha.
Edit to add: They say this a Navy publication when the Navy Times is actually not affiliated with the Navy kind of a misleading title.

@DeusGladiorum @DeathKnight112 I wouldn't say it has alienated me. I have already pre-ordered my box. The people who are going to be able to bring a tv and a console on deployment with them are most likely going to have internet access where they're going. You have no room for things like this on a ship and if you do it's shop effort to get one on for one of your shared spaces with people you trust. People are acting like everyone on the ship can just bring a console, a tv, and all the stuff used to plug it in when that's just not the case.

Lol at Gamestop for using the "Navy Crimes" as a source. No really that's what we call it in the Navy. It's mostly a laughing stock of a paper with over sensationalized articles just to get you to buy one.
