My god. I just finished watching a 7 minute "Lets Play" of Dwarf Fortress, and this game really does look complex as hell. I am definitely going to check this one out, and I will be sure to read up on it first. Thank you for bringing this game to my attention!

Other than Oregon Trail, of course.
I have been looking for one for awhile, and all I can find currently is Project Zomboid, which is no more than a demo at the moment. I keep coming across random text based simulators, but being text based almost entirely defeats the purpose of it being a simulator. Hell, I would even take mods for games. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. would be a great game for a mod such as that. I somewhat had my hopes up for Dead Island, which don't get me wrong, I'm ejoying the game, but it is far from a true survival game even.
Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green. I've played a LOT of zombie games, and none have ever been as bad. Even Shellshock 2. raven_squad
The game itself may be bad, but it's mods more than make up for it (in my opinion.)
I'd have to say that I personally think that Left 4 Dead is the worst zombie game. It is a good game, and it is fun. But when it comes to the zombie sub-genre, it breaks far too many rules.
I have two gtx 460s and at those setting I don't get close to 100 FPS. So you're lying.i5750at4Ghz
What resolution and did you have Vsync on? Also, what processors do you both have, and you also need to compare drivers. I wouldn't really say that he's lying until everything is compared. The GPU isn't the only important thing here.
I definitely find it to be one of the more unsettling games I've played. It isn't your traditional "horror" game, but the atmosphere, the difficulty, the ambience, the lighting, the general feeling of being alone, the realistic take on the post-apocalyptic genre (and I use the term "realistic" loosely.) If you get really into the game, and play it alone with the lights out, it can really get to you at times.
If these really are the system requirements, then this is great news. My OC 560Ti should do just fine.
Pyro. It's a great feeling when you notice a team mate (enemy spoy) is acting suspicious, and you get them just in time to save a fellow team mate. Or a Demoman has a key doorway filled with mines, and one of your allies are unaware of it and decide to run through that door, and you hit the mines with an air blast just in time to save them. Or theres always the infamous sniping snipers with a flare gun.
In the world of gaming, that was a true work of art.
I think THIS is more impressive, even if it's old.

And this is just impressive as hell. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of planning and work that took to create.
Probably requires 560 Ti SLI and dual hexacore CPUs :(scar-hawk
