FYI, the leaked beta was less than a month old when it was released. It was certainly gimped; but not old :D

Anyone with a brain can see that any given sales chart for US/EU has more diversity than Japan.

There's only 6 JRPGs in the entire list. Your kinda overreacting here.
Yeah, almost a 1/3, LOL.
I'm talking overall; not just this chart.
Everything I've said is undeniably right. The only road block is some people's sensitivity and unwillingness.

Exactly. Have you forgotten what an opinion is?
Also, non shooters game sell well in America as well. Japan just plays the same JRPGs over and over and over.
name one game in the US that sells as much as COD?lolfaillogic
No game sells as good as COD. Doesn't mean games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Witcher, Fallout 3, and whatever else, which sell 1-2 million each isn't impressive.

And america plays the same FPS games over and over again.
But only from 2002 (When Halo got popular) - 2010. (2011 just started) That's eight years. Japans been playing JRPGs since Ultima 3 clones starting poppin' up around 1985. That's 25 years of single-mindedness. I threw you a bone here. FPS didn't become as popular as JRPGs in Japan until this console generation around 2006. So, really, only 4 years.
Plus, for every samey FPS there's 1000 samey JRPGs. Do not compare.

Consoles are certainly not. An innovative developer can work around hardware constraints. skrat_01
Yeah, by making the interactive environment smaller.
