The memory bandwith will limit a 512mb graphics card from performing at any potential. Plus the 2600xt requires 400 watts of power.Elite_Rendog92
well then... how does your 8600GT handle CoD4 multiplayer??

What about that one? Too hardcore for my psu? It doesn't seem much different than the other one, just slightly more expensive.

NeoSapphire
Thats fine, its highly OC'd too so its better. and Newegg is THE best everyone will tell you the same, they have 5$ 3 day shipping, who can beat that :P

You shouldn't choosea GPU just cause you arelimited by your PSU.But if you think its the best,i would say the HD 2600xt,but also i really doubt that a 300W PSU can run these cards perfectly stable.yeah_28
now im confused

[QUOTE="Dedicationism"][QUOTE="Sprozelth"]What resolution are u planning to run on?Sprozelth
1024x768, I have a 7300GT right now and I can barely play the CoD4 and Crysis demo  I have a AMD X2 3800+ with 2gb of ram to back it up too

Get the 8600gt

so that would be better than a HD 2600XT in those games?
