Face off mode is the kind of mode that will probably be good if you have a friend that is willing to play properly. I don't see it working in public matches. Although it is essentially Cage Match from Mw1. I'll play the free stuff, and as much as I want the collection packs, I'm not paying even more than I already have for the core game (bearing in mind the pre-order prices of CoD are already higher than other games anyway). And I chuckled a bit when he said Call of Duty has the best community in the industry. I like the game and all, but the community is just a joke.
I discourage downloading games. I hate doing it. Not the games themselves, just downloading in general. Standard internet connection in the UK is no where near fast enough to warrant downloading games all the time, physical copies are much simpler, and are a good keepsake.
I was never too confident on the vita anyway. And when I saw the UI design for the first time, it looked completely 'not sony' if you know what I mean. The XMB for example, as far as UI goes, is quite sophisticated in design.
I'm 99% sure that all 3 console giants will remain. Nintendo wouldn't leave because there a gaming company, whereas sony and microsoft make other products.Still, I don't see any valid reasons for sony or microsoft to leave.
Is this really that big of a deal? I mean it wasn't a 'great' MMO, it wasn't until Knights of the old republic I payed any interest towards a star wars MMO.
I don't have a problem with playing them, i find them to be fun and entertaining games to get out of the world of RPG's I usually play, but that doesn't mean I don't understand the impact of real war. I can totally understand why someone would not want to play these styles of games for these reasons. My dad's an ex-soldier from the Coldstream guards and lost many of his friends in firefights. They die fighting for our country, we die and moan our K/D's going down.
