Due to the upgrading work it has become almost impossible to post in my unions. Since I get pissed very easily if one post takes 10 minutes just to submit, I will probably give up. I will be back but I will not be willing to spend much time getting something posted. Reality is a bit-ch!

More about No Surrender:BotB

I know this is the third in a series of flops by Monte Cristo but...
I am a WW II history buff and the Ardennes Offensive is and has been of special interest. Also, since I am a wargamer, games that purport to accurately recreate the battle have been a big focus of mine. So, even though this game has had nothing to recommend it, I have been watching and waiting for its release. I figured that at $20 how can I go wrong? Well, I have been playing a little of it and it isn’t bad. So far I can say that the graphics are highly detailed and look good but obscure the action. Also, the artillery seems to be difficult to use but I haven’t looked into it much; since I haven’t really needed it.

No Surrender: Battle of the Bulge IS HERE NOW.

I don’t know if that is a good thing but it is definitely unexpected. No Surrender: Battle of the Bulge is the American version of the Monte Cristo game, 1944: BotB. On GS it has a release date of 10/01/05 but it is here now. I purchased it on 9/15/05 at a little store called CompUSA. It sells for $19.95. I will review it as soon as I can.
I would really like to add this game to my collection but I keep thinking that getting the info out is more important. I posted this on the Ask Gamespot and Site Enhancements & Feedback. I’m not sure where to post next so I thought I would put down some thoughts about it here.

This week most of my thoughts have been scattered about on various boards. What's on my mind right now is this: lately I have been spending about 20 bucks American on games each week. This is because I have discovered many games, that I had not heard of, are still available. This week I am in a quandry.
I am not sure which of these I should get first: Diablo, Starcraft or Baldur's Gate. Each of these are available as anthology sets and are all priced at 19.99 USD. So I ask you, my friends, what should I do? :?

We are throwing a birthday party tonight and I am cooking. BBQ hamburgers, hotdogs, and potato salad. Of course there will be cake and treats. It should be fabulous!

I would like to thank everyone for your help and concern during my crisis yesterday. I have figured out my place in time and I feel secure again. :P
I know what it is! Something has been bugging me the way a splinter on the bottom of your foot can. You know, you feel it each time you walk but can't see it to get it out. Well I have had a splinter in my mind and I have now found it. I know what it is.
It's going to be a rant so maybe I will post it on my UCB and use my journal to reflect on my feelings.
Finally, I just have to say something about this new game that has been announced. The Lord of the Rings: BFME II has been announced and a trailer is now viewable on 'Spot. I am such a Tolkien freak. I thought that the first BFME was outstanding but this new release looks way better. It probably won't be out for a year and I am as excited as though it will be released next month. The game has all the right stuff: good story, good characters, and great action. But Now...
There Be Dragons in this game. The old, northern European mythical dragons! ... Dragons that fly and breathe fire and bring horrible destruction! Of all the Great Worms created by Melkor, the winged serpents are the most impressive. It also appears that the doors to Tolkien's bestiary have been opened so the other beasts of Middle-earth may have more of a role in the game play.
:D OH YEAH :D
