Dragon Age is your more typical rpg (party, character development etc) and DS is like a hybrid Hack n Slash. i own both and love both but IMO i feel the hype behind demon soul is a bandwagon effect.
my friend has this and tried to let me borrow it i was like "nah bro i'm cool.." lol. i haven't clicked with the FF series since 9 with 3/6 being my favorite. Shadow was my single favorite character in a game growing up.
something you should know about GOW3 that i wish i did is that its REALLY short, like 11 hours short and the reply value is minimal i have never played a second run through since buying it about a year ago. By no means is this a jab at GOW3 but something that you should be aware of (btw i LOVED gow3 but 10 hours? come on!)
