Nope it's true, if you put the InFamous2 blu-ray into an Xbox 360 it won't play. So it is not possible on the 360. Sony's chest beating does get old though.

It seems that Sony and their fanboys are really the only people in the world that don't seem to get that the PS3 and the Xbox 360 are pretty much even in specifications, and performance. So basically if Sucker Punch wanted to code Infamous 2 for the 360 it would work fine I'm sure.

Being that I own both systems, I am glad that the PS3 is getting Netflix. Now I don't have to get a Roku player. I am tired of watching Netflix on my 360 because it is just so darned loud.

I wana know why do ps3 games sell piss poor ??

the 360 and ps3 have about the same amount of sales every month but the 360 keeps on getting the software top spot.

Gh0st_Of_0nyx
The reason is because people aren't buying the PS3 to play games. They are buying it only to watch movies, myself included. I own both the 360 and the PS3. I watch movies on the PS3 and I play games on the 360. No matter what the hardware sales are, the numbers don't lie when it comes to software sales. The numbers tell the whole story.

[QUOTE="Deman19901"]The interesting thing to me is PCs and the 360 all have multiple cores while the PS3 only had 1 core. Couldn't that end up hurting the PS3 once developers start designing games that use multiple cores?donwoogie

Dare I dignify this with a response?

The PS3 Cell processor has 8 cores (1 redundant).............

You're either very bad at joking or very badly misinformed. I'm currently not sure which.

As I said only 1 core. Do your homework.

I have been saying this all along also. So for me it boils to to 360 for games and PS3 for movies. Who can resist a $400 blu-ray player.

People aren't buying the PS3 to play games. They are buying it to watch movies. I am going to buy the $400 model to use as a Bluray player. A couple of coworkers have already done so. The bad thing with this is when developers look at the high software sales for the 360, they will focus all their attention there. Sony wins for movies I am not so sure about games. I don't think they even care.

Face it I will be buying the PS3 when the $400 model comes out. You can not beat a $400 Bluray player. Several coworkers have already bought one for watching movies. At this point I don't think hardware sales matter from a gaming standpoint for Sony. Did you see the September software sales for the 360? They were through the roof. If Sony does win the console wars with the PS3 it will be for movie sales not games. If you ask me I think that was all they are worried about. So for this generation I think the 360 will have the most games and the PS3 will just be a Bluray player

Probably won't matter. By the the next XBOX should be out or right around the corner. With the way technology advances nowadays who wants to be playing a five year old console? By then it is severely outdated.
