[QUOTE="GhoX"][QUOTE="Deniable_Ops"][QUOTE="GhoX"] I have tried to enlighten you, but regretfully you don't even know the most entry-level economics to understand. Go back and play your consoles. Perhaps you will learn more in college, kid.

No you haven't. You've pulled this frankly pathetically subjective theory out of the air from God knows where....If I'm so wrong, why don't the actions of third-party developers contradict me?

http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2009/01/judge-17000-illegal-downloads-dont-equal-17000-lost-sales.ars See, even judges know a thing or two about economics. You really should broaden your knowledge instead of embarrassing yourself further.

So....because one Judge gives his opinion I'm supposed to see it as God's word? I think what you're trying to say basically is that you can't lose something you never had, right? (with regards to a potential sale)

[QUOTE="Deniable_Ops"][QUOTE="-Unreal-"]Like I told the other guy, Skyrim for PC has not been leaked. It just hasn't. Feel free to download your 4GB worth of random files compressed into a bunch of split .rars

To be honest I think you two know that the PC version hasn't been pirated yet but you know we can't prove you wrong because links are prohibited, so you just say that it has.

pelvist

Google search says otherwise, hacker forums are already discussing it, you are starting to resemble a small child with his fingers in his ears who doesn't want to believe reality and wants this all to be a dream, you wonder why PC software sales are so low? Here's your answer.

Google search confirms its a fake actually, if you spent the time to read up on those Google search results you would have figured this out for yourself before coming back to make yourself look more ignorrant than you already have...

Defending your console pirates by using false claims and damage control effort with "bu-bu-but the PC one has been pirated first!" :lol:

Damage control? LOL, maybe your little slight against me would hold weight if Console Piracy actually caused serious harm to Console Gaming the way PC piracy does to PC gaming, remember when Crytek were absolutely revered by you guys? I wonder what happened there? :lol:

[QUOTE="GhoX"][QUOTE="Deniable_Ops"][QUOTE="GhoX"] Neither. One copy pirated =/= one lost sale. Many people would not have gotten the game if it wasn't for free. In other words - basic concepts of demand, the lower the price, the higher the quantity demanded. If 50k people were willing to buy a game, and 30k people would only ever get the game if it's free, then all piracy does is perhaps causing only 45k people buying the game instead of 50k, while 35k would pirate. That doesn't mean that all 80k people would have bought the game if there was no piracy!

1. A Pirated copy IS a lost sale because the Pirate is playing your game without paying for it, its as simple as that. 2. You can blather on with your baseless estimations all you want, just how do you know exactly that a pirate wouldn't have bought the game, if hadn't seen it just waiting to be torrented? What about if he gets it from his friend who also Pirated it?

[QUOTE="GhoX"][QUOTE="Deniable_Ops"][QUOTE="-CheeseEater-"]Nah, but developers can only/ever complain about piracy on the PC! :| Makes me sick that they 'delay' PC games like Batman, GTA IV etc. over 'PC' piracy, when consoles are always the first to leak and have the pirated copies out running well before it's even the release date.

But on which one do the devs lose more money on huh? Which platform? Enlighten me xD

[QUOTE="LovePotionNo9"]

Does this mean the PS3 version is better since it hasn't been pirated yet?

-Unreal-
Neither has the PC version.

What are you talking about? Its been up for download even longer than the 360 version... and don't give me that "bu- bu- but they can't play it for a few days!!" garbage. There's a reason why there aren't that many big-budget PC exclusives anymore...
