When I was in 7th/8th grade the only thing people called me was Star Wars nerd or Halo nerd, yet I never spouted anything about either unless asked. People just enjoy trying to raise their ego by putting other down, I've even done it myself at times. Just don't let it get to you, who gives a **** what others think about you? Be yourself.

I got through it just by hanging out with some online friends in Splinter Cell and Halo. You could almost call those guys family to me. It's probably why I find a 14-15 year old's voice somewhat calming (hopefully not a pedo in the making...). Online games were more or less my haven, a quick way to put my mind on other matters.

I'm Currently in 11th grade, going to be a senior next year, and I find it funny how quite a few of the name callers have dropped out of school. As for the rest, they're off playing Call of Duy or Halo every day. Hell, all I hear from them every day in U.S. History is their previous night's CoD match. Now, I could be an imature asshat and spout the same crap they did to me, but that would be childish, and to be honest I really could care less what they call me.

thats why i like games, they calm me down a whole lot. when i get grounded i get incredibly stressed, games are a way to get rid of that stress for me

I couldn't imagine how stressed a 9th grader would get, good thing you have Halo escape reality huh?

Just keep playing those games and I'm sure things will turn arounf for the better.
