Skyrim would actually be a really good RPG to start out with. It plays a lot like a first-person adventure game, so if you've played games like Bioshock or Metroid Prime you should be relatively comfortable with the control set up. Your stats increase based on how you play, so you don't really have to worry about leveling up your characters incorrectly like you do in some other RPGs. I, personally, didn't find it to be too difficult of a game either. You might find it to be a bit slow in the beginning if you're not familiar with the genre. But, if you stick with it to the point that you start getting more quests available to you, you'll be addicted like everyone else.zombieeric

thanks for the advice dude.
I will be buying the game by the end of this month.

As you said that game is a bit slow in the beginning, is it boring also in the start?

[QUOTE="DevilishFalcon"]Hey everyone, I am totally new to RPG games. I have never played any. So should it with Skyrim or not? Please give your opinion. Adziboy
Hardly a newbie question, or even a question at all, sicne you haven't really helped us. You've never played an RPG - so how do we know if you will like it or not? You have to try out something before you know if you like it or not, no matter how awesome and ****ing amazing it is. I absolutely love Skyrim - but I love the universe, the open world, the graphics/style, everything. So to make this more constructive: 1. do you like open world games? 2. do you like games which allow you to do whatever you want, whenever? 3. do you like that sort of era, swords, magic etc? If yes to 2 or more, I'd say buy it.

I have always loved open world games. I would surely love to do whatever I want. I love to be the boss of myself :P I think I should get it and try it.

GTR12

for me maybe it is. The graphics of such awesome games like FIFA 12 and RDR don't look good at all :(

Get a calibration DVD and run it.

what's that?

Size, hz and manufacturer all play a role in how good the picture is and how smooth it is.

First off, is your PS3 set to display HD? I only have 1080p and 720p checked on for my set up.

SOedipus

I also have both the things checked.

I don't think that game will run on my PC..

its powered by the chrome engine.. it was relevant back in the days of doom 3 XD

what gpu do you have? if you dont know go run system requirements lab on something random or yougamers both will tell you. i prefer yougamers as basically its the bottom row center column of the results. if it makes you fell better i will TELL you myself if you can and i guarantee an 89% accuracy

I don't have any type of GPU (graphics card) on my PC dude. I use the onboard one. Intel one.
