With Rise and Fall, and now Gathering Storm, people who enjoy Civ V still can also enjoy this separately, because even though they're both Civ and share a lot, they also have a lot of unique differences. Remember when Civ V came out, many blasted that too saying that IV was better.
I think that V and VI are different enough that they compliment each other, not replace.
@untouchables111: Is it? The game is on Steam for $1.49 right now. Epic isn't giving away a whole lot here for free. Steam includes a lot of great features that Epic doesn't have.
I've been playing RDR2 this week on the Xbox One X, and while the graphics, animations and overall production values are incredible, I'm not really having fun playing it. Hopefully I warm up to it. It's just so clunky and the controls are overly complicated.
As far as popular games go, I enjoyed God of War a lot more.
Been playing it for a good few hours now, it's a great game with beautiful hand drawn artwork and animation, fun and challenging gameplay, and a large world with great level design and lots of content and secrets.
@porcupeth123 There are plenty of hugely popular games I don't care about, people like different stuff. I think a lot of people just really want a great huge space sim and it's been a long time.
All the user reviews on Steam say the game is excellent, and those are based on a beta version. I myself have the game preordered on Steam and I can't wait to finally sink into it. It's been way too long since the last Age of Wonders!
@naruto945 @cavs25 @zanelli @LarkAnderson I always understood the scene, but really, nobody does this kind of stuff, and nobody would. It's weird to me because it just doesn't come off as natural behavior. It would have made more sense if Yuna simply tried to make him laugh like a normal person would in real life.
