That is true as well. The Mortal Kombat movie oddly enough can get away without playing the games.Honestly the advent children movie would ony be good if you played the original game and I don't think that is what make a good movie.

[QUOTE="DiceofSpades"]have the quality of an award winning film?Goyoshi12
Stretching that a little bit.
How about just a videogame based movie that didn't make you want to kill the director for spewing the abomination onto the silver screen? As for my most decent videogame based movie....I don't have one. I avoid those things like the plague.
King OF Fighters wons a few awards. The Dreamcast version is better than the ps2 version for the superior output image, alone(IMO).HeirrenReally? What's the resolution output on the DC?
So what are the differences between the DC & PS2? I see some people say either or is the "best version". I know the DC runs at 60fps and ps2 slows down sometimes so with that said, what does the PS2 version have that makes it better than the DC? Or is the DC the best version?Chris_YaskoskiThe PS2 version is faster, has better controls(Imo), the English, and looks better. As well as having shorter load times if i recall.
No it did not make sense it was fan service that had random flash and defying physics and gravity and was absolutely shallow. I think Spirits within got more high critic scores than Advent Children. Everyone enjoyed the movie my butt. What are you talking about it has plenty of substance, it's an epilogue to FFVII that shows you what happens afterward. Fragments of Sephinroth work together to try and resurrect their "mother". The story make plenty of sense and the action is top notch, I'm not really sure what you were expecting, but generally people enjoyed that movie!

ND will probably make a new IP series for PS4. They did crash bandicoot for PS1, Jak and Daxter for PS2, and uncharted for PS3.

I really hope Naughty Dog follows their old patternts with with Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter.
There isn't really a pattern, ND had no control over Crash, Crash WAS going to leave no matter what, it was inevitable. There was a Jak game 7th gen as well, LF released after the 360 and PS3 came out on the PSP which was part of 7th gen.At least it's not as bad as Advent Children. You smoking crack? Advent Children was ACTUALLY a Final Fantasy movie, unlike Spirits Within. If he was smocking crack, I wish that that he gave me some before I saw the movie. It;s terrible, and it has nothing to do with Final Fantasy it;s random cutscenes defying gravity with flash and no substance.[QUOTE="DiceofSpades"][QUOTE="GreySeal9"]
With all due respect, I thought that movie was absolute garbage.

At least it's not as bad as Advent Children.[QUOTE="DiceofSpades"][QUOTE="lightleggy"]Yeah but it is actually called Columbia. Unless you're not talking about the country. No is not. Its Colombia. "Columbia" was a nickname for the American colonies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colombia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbia_%28name%29 The southamerican country is called Colombia, Columbia was a poetic name for America. But google states it's columbia http://www.google.com/search?num=10&hl=en&site=imghp&tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1280&bih=677&q=columbia+country&oq=columbia+country&gs_l=img.3..0l4j0i24l6.1477.3748.0.3987.16.14.0.2.2.0.187.1570.6j8.14.0...0.0...1ac.1.ubbUGDSIAxw So it's all very confusing.Without hitting the "grammar nazi" (that is, not every error disturbs you)
In my case, it's when somebody says "Columbia" instead of "Colombia".

Well to be fair the PS2 version feels like the other games. They fixed the controls, added strafing which the PSP version does not have and the sole reason I avoid it. And no slowdown.[QUOTE="DiceofSpades"][QUOTE="BarbaricAvatar"]
I'd be wary about "Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters". The PS2 (and PSP) version is done by a different developer to the first 4 R&C games and it's lacking the control fluidity and the background detail that made the Insomniac games so much fun.
I'd go so far to say it's a distinctly bland platformer not worthy to join the R&C franchise.

It's the PS2 version i was referring to. On its own it seems alright, but if you play it straight after any of the first 4 you notice it's not quite right.
Well yes, it was made to control on a smaller screen with less space, so it does feel that the controls feel odd and don;t seem to always allow you to move the character very well eve if you push the stick far out and such, But it is at least decent and better than the other uh, game in the series on the PSP. I do agree that it's nowhere near the scale and gameplay awesomeness that is the first 4.
