@pyro1245: I'm well aware. But there is no denying that the entire manufacturing and material process, combined with the global shipping that physical products demand is not insignificant. It's a massive, massive cost which is built into the price of the product.
With digital products, this is all eliminated... yet the consumer is paying full price. Stop defending shitty business practices.
@7tizz: I think the bigger issue is that developers are charging the same amounts for a digital copy that costs them nothing, vs the physical, tangible product. (that probably has DRM and can never be traded/re-sold etc..) This is the problem.
What a awful, shallow, all flash no substance game that was. I played the free demo and was bored within an hour. The only reason it was so successful is because of the nostalgia for the original. It will flop if they release another. People aren't falling for that shit twice. Awful game.
