Summer Ball

Hel-lo. Welcome to my blog. I really need to find a better way to get more sleep. I had tons of science homework last night, and it took about four hours to get done. I seriously almost fell asleep at my kitchentable while my dad was looking at this one really confusing problem. I got two blankets and a pillow, put four chairs up against each other, and tried my best to fall asleep.

So yesterday, I finished this book called, Summer Ball, written by Mike Lupica. Mike Lupica is my favorite author. He writes a lot of good sports books. I've read all of his books that they have at my school's library. Travel Team, Heat, Miracle on 49th Street, and now Summer Ball. (Summer Ball is a sequel to Travel Team, by the way.

So how many here like sports? *raises hand* And even if you don't, can you please join my Most Valuable Union? Of course, it is about sports. Active or not, I'd like to have a lot of my friends at the union. I'm pretty sure all of you know about it, unless you are already affliated with the maximum amount of unions with 30. Speaking of the maximum amount of unions, I'm up to 28 now, so if you are trying to invite me to your union, please invite to my FightingWeasel account, because it only has 2 unions.

So yeah... anyways... the Mavs beat the Knicks last night, 99-89. Once again, the fans were shouting "Fire Isiah!" in the third quarter. But I have to say, the Knicks made a pretty impressive run last night at the end bringing what once was a 23-point deficit, all the way down to 7. Knicks still lost though.

No special video to show you today. In fact, I am letting YOU, yes, you! :P To send in your own videos, or videos you've found that are interesting and or funny to me, and I will pick about 3-5 videos per blog and put them on my next blog!! :)

QUESTION II: Who is your favorite author?

Last but not least, our person of the blog to track is: Yoshi_911

So that's it... BYE!

Happy Birthday!

Yesterday was my mom's birthday! Most people on TV.com know her as cookiefoot, the Al Gore fan, who for about three months, could never stop talking about Al Gore not saying he was gonna run for president, or not saying he wasn't gonna run for president. The person who won the "Most Hatred Against Global Warming" and "Most Influentual User" at my TV.com Emmy Awards recently.

Don't ask me how old she is. She can tell you if she wants to. Let's just call her 21, like the waiters at the Olive Garden did last night. ;) Yep, last night we went to the Olive Garden (have you heard of it?) for my mom's birthday. The Olive Garden is her favorite restuarant.

I kept on promising to write a birthday blog for her. Unfortunately, I never had time to yesterday, and now its 5:00PM now when I'm writing it. But oh well. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!!! And just for you, you are the user of the day to track!! :) And here is a link to her profile: cookiefoot

This blog is also the return of the QUESTION OF THE DAY!!! So here's Question I.

Besides TV.com, which of the other three CNET websites do you use the most? (There are only three answers to this, and my answer is in black.)

A. Gamespot
B. Movie Tome
C. MP3.com

And meet the drunk squirrel's friend, MR. DRUNK KITTY!!!:twisted::twisted:

Howdy!

This is going to be a long blog, just to be aware. Not long, compared to others' long blogs, but long blogs compared to my usual blogs. Now lets stop talking about blog lengths and move on to today.

TODAY was a field trip! Wow, we don't get much of those. :( But we did today, and the whole middle school got to go to a college. You might know it. We went to Texas A&M in Bryan-College Station today. Home of them dumb Aggies I hate. Unfortunately, our teachers said we couldn't wear Longhorn T-shirts. :(

Here's something you might not know. In Aggieland, everyone greets each other with a "Howdy!". Anywhere on campus, if you walk past someway, there is a 95% chance of them greeting you with a "Howdy!" :|:P Yeah, once we learned that, EVERYWHERE AND TO EVERYBODY THAT PASSED US, we said "Howdy!" :P

First we went... HEY... I'll just give you a list of all my friends in my grade so you can catch up.

ME
Marisa Ceballos
Morgan Cleveland
Zack Greensage
Haley Hefelfinger
Mason Leija
Barret Niemeyer
Chance Pitts

So anyway, at first, we went to the George Bush Library and Museum. Why do they put in 'library'? I don't know why, because it sure isn't a library. But it was awesome.

First we got the tour and all. There were a ton of great places but we had limited time. As soon as we started getting interested in something, our tour guide was like, "Moving ON!" The museum was like a building full of President George Herbert Walker Bush's life. And a few things about Barbara Bush, and George Bush II.

You should of seen it... an awesome part was a miniature replica of the White House, and it was awesome! It was all detailed as well! It had a working small-TV and chimney in some rooms, and there was a little light in some of the rooms! :o

Another favorite was the "Situation Room" where all the main people in office meet when there is some kind of emergency happening, and they discuss it. But I mostly liked the chairs! They were comfortable! :P The room after that was awesome as well. It was a tent set up to pretend it was that one war between Iraq and Kuwait - the Gulf War. It was awesome. There was commentary in the background, and special sound effects like bombings, jets flying over, and MORE!

There was also a duplicate Oval Office, and each of us got to sit in the "President's Desk" for a few seconds. I got in there and saw a telephone and tried to take it off the hook but it wouldn't budge. :( Zack farted in the seat.

And I won't forget another part... there were like four or five rooms in the White House that you could look at. You put your eyes through this screen and run little arrows and you can look all over that room in the White House!

We ate lunch outside of the museum, then packed up and went into the real Aggie campus where we had another tour. This time, the tour guide was smaller than me. :| But that time, I really didn't enjoy it because she'd stop for too long and talk for too long. I just wanted to look around. :| And she called UT, (University of Texas) TU.:o:?

Oh, and don't forget the "Howdy!" part. We did that to everyone we walked passed.

Some of you Texans out there probably know Kyle Field. Kyle Field is where the Texas A&M Aggies football team plays. We didn't get to go in the stands, but we went on the field, where the tour guide showed us this retarded cheer. Does she really think we'd enjoy it!? And did you know Texas A&M doesn't have any cheerleaders? Its because the school started out for boys-only, so they're called "yell leaders". And hey, can anybody tell me if "yell leader" is one word or two? One word, then that'd mean there would be three l's in a row and it wouldn't look right. :| Yellleader. :|

One of the funniest parts was at the end when we were leaving Kyle Field. This dude from A&M was trying to do tricks on his skateboard. We kept on yelling, like, "Woo!" and "Aww!" and "Wow!" and junk. It obviously got on his nerves, because the last time he messed up, I heard him say, "God-damn kids!" :P:lol:

Now I'm home. :| In other news... Runna_Rox would like some more people to post on her blogs, if you don't mind. Track her as well, if you like. :) Her name is Brianna and she lives in Australia, and is a huge Flight 29 Down fan. :)

End of November/Weekend/Coming Off Probation

If you were wondering where I was at yesterday, and most of the Wednesday, I was serving a two-day parental probation for back talking or, "raising my voice" at my dad. And trust me, that isn't the first time its happened, and probably not the hundredth time either. So, I'll try to catch up on all of your blogs today.

Anybody see the Cowboys-Packers game last night? I know only about 35% of America or the world could see it, but just asking, because I watched it. I predicted five interceptions by Favre, and for him to get injured. I got 40% of the interceptions come true, until... HE GOT INJURED!! I AM A GOD!!! But their back-up quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, was pretty impressive.

So finally the weekend is here! Wow, this week went by fast. But not complaining! I'd rather be off from school!

So, I haven't written a blog since November 27th, on Tuesday. :| Thats mostly the "probation" and CCE c_lasses on Wednesday, so here's a blog!

Here's also a user to track!!

Ever Been Hit In The Head With A Basketball... Several Times?

It sucks.

There are two major peeps in my Athletics clas.s that like to pick on me everyday during the period. It really sucks. I got hit in the head with the basketball about two times today. The first two days of basketball practice resulted in getting hit three or more times. Life sucks.

And now I am typing this with a major headache, hoping I'll have too much of headache to go to school tomorrow. I like Athletics. I really look forward to practicing lay-ups, shooting, and scrimmaging. I just hate it when its like my head is a ball-magnet. :(

I've even gotten hit in places you guys don't want to be hit at. :( I've also been thrown down to the cement floor when I was shooting. I always have to be careful when I'm practicing. Like every minute, I either get hit, or a basketball goes flying right in front of my face.

Besides two others at my school, you peeps here at TV.com are practically my best friends in life. Thank you all who read this blog and have a good night.

HELP! Nicole's Blog Title Is Missing!

Seriously, no kidding. :| Nicole's (nickel2006) blog title ran away! I am serious, so if you find it, please return it to Nicole right away. And heck, I bet she is very devestated right now, so even if she already has a ton of friends, she is our of friend of the day to track:

nickel2006

Thank you, and have a nice day.

Rain! YEA!

Today it was kinda raining nonstop, from really hard, to just sprinkling, but it was something. I remember this summerI used to hate it because it would always rain. Before June was over we had like 45 inches of rain already that year and then before today, we only had like five-ten inches between June and now. :| But it probably rained about one, two, inches so yea, I'm kinda happy.

I changed my personal image. Its a place in my hometown. Its my favorite barbeque restauarant. :P

Drunk Refs Cause Mavericks 111-107 Loss

Anybody could tell that the refs at the Mavericks-Pacers game in Indianapolis were either drunk, blind, or had bet money on the Pacers to win.

Avery Johnson, the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, was thrown out for no reason. Mavs point guard, Devin Harris charged down the court and was obviously in shooting position when he was fouled and the refs called it a foul on the floor, instead of a shooting foul. The commentators didn't blame Avery for charging onto the court towards the ref. That was when he was thrown out.

An obvious two-point shot was credited by a three-point shot throughout the whole game. He was a foot inside the three-point-line!

Dirk got a technical foul as well as the Indiana Pacers improve to 6-7, with a 111-107 win over the 9-3 Dallas Mavericks.

I don't have a person of the day to track for this blog. Sorry guys, I'm just too damn upset.
