Cool. I've never listened to Giant Bombcast, I think I will check them out some time.

It seems a lot of you like podcasts and watch them weekly too! I personally think weekly are pretty healthy for both the audience and the podcasters. I wonder if there are any daily podcasts, if so, how popular are they?

We'll me and some friends of mine have been fans of numerous podcasts/video game shows/news (i.e. 1up show, noobtoob, co-op,gamespots' reviews) I noticed this is an ever increasing trend. I think it's because of how alot of these podcasts go beyong just reviewing the game(which i find kinda boring) they have gamers instead talking about thier experiences with the games they have played and tell it in thier own opinion!

But I'm quite interested to see how much you guys like podcasts and if you listen to them!

I ask this because me and 3 close friends recently decided to do a podcast and start up a site. And we have all never done this before. But our passion for games and the love of just speaking and voicing out our opinions on the games we play is almost vital to us. It soothes and relieves our gaming spirit so to speak.

So I guess my two questions to you guys is.. Do you listen to podcasts and what do you like/dislike about them?

If you would like to check out our site (we recently reviewed Borderlands) and see games we've reviewed come check out our site! www.secondplaythrough.com WE WOULD LOVE to hear your guys comments, even if you think it sucks let us know! We'd like to hear other peoples opinions on things, and we respect them too. So check us out!

Bioshock's Irony acheviement, you get it by killing Sander Cohen and taking his picture, after you end up killing 4 people for him in the same fashion.

It caught me off guard because I didn't know it was an acheviement.. and well, when the acheviement "Irony" popped up, I had to chuckle. Very witty on the bioshock developers part!

I want to buy The Orange Box, I loved Team Fortress Classic back when half-life1 came out. Also Oblivion, but because of its 100+ hours of gameplay, im waiting till theres a shortage of games I want to get and play.

I'd been meaning to rent Assasin's Creed also.

I agree that FPS's feel a bit stale. After playing Halo3 and CoD4 for 2 months each, I'm not burnt but rather just satisfied and ready to move on to a new gaming experience.

I would like to see game developers explore new ideas toward online FPS's. Maybe an online constant war between to opposing forces. It should have some RPG elements to it, like leveling up and receiving upgrades for your character. Make it a little harder to lvl up compared to CoD4's exp. system. I know SoE(Sony Online Entertainment) made a game similar to this called PlanetSide, never played it but it had a constant on going battle for territories between opposing factions.

But I loved what CoD4 did, It gave a little bit more insentive to continue playing, even if you feel you maxed yourself peak in skill. So those players kinda pushed the noobs to play better quicker. I loved sniping alot in that game! Only fps that i truly enjoyed sniping in to be honest. I think games like CoD4 and Halo3 are absolutely fun for the first 1-2months of playing, the time when you're still having a blast experiencing everything the game offers and becoming a better player.. but eventually that dies out and you just play because thats all you BEEN doing heh. These type of online games were probally never made to hold the casual gamers attention for more than 3-4months at max.

Oh yea, GO HORNETS! 2-0 baby!

I haven't played many xbox360 games, but from the ones i've played, I liked halo3's musical score. It became classic to me in the 3rd sequel after becoming very familiar with them in the first two.

I hear Lost Odessy has an awesome musical score from nobuo(final fantasy composer). Just haven't played it yet, but I have a feeling that would be my favorite game track from a 360 game. I'm a BIG BIG fan of Final Fantasy music.
